Put fresh bedding on my bed yesterday and an hour later my lad came running into the bedroom to tell me something massively important about cbeebies.. Unfortunately he had been eating choc buttons and got his grubby hand print all over my duvet cover.

So off it came, put the other set on (I only have 2 as I recently got a long size duvet cover and chucked all the double ones away) that one went into the wash today and is currently drying.

So my boy watches cbeebies bedtime hour cuddled up on the bed with me between 6&7 it's what we do every day.. And he's just projectile vomited his dinner all over my nice clean bedding!!

So now I've one in the wash and one drying!! And none to go on the bed.

"Tumble driers are a marvelous invention "

I have a washer dryer. But the washing machine is so loud on the slate tiles in my kitchen I can't have it on at night it sounds like a jet engine going off and the tumble dryer part is shit unless you dry one sock at a time!! Lol x

Before I had a tumble drier, I used to iron all my stuff dry if I needed it that night

I used to love being ill.

My mum used to pamper the shit out of me...even when I faked it.

Hope your boy is better soon, been a few kids off school with it.

I remember when my daughter watched me ironing my duvet cover then putting it on the bed, then she wanted to bounce on my bed and I told her no. Whilst I was on the loo she had gone downstairs and brought up her bowl of coco pops that she had been eating, brought it back upstairs and threw the contents of the bowl all over my bed, all soggy coco poos and chocolate milk. She was 3 at the time!

My daughter is lovely I love her to bits and she's good as gold but when she decides to be bad it's like she puts a lot of thought and effort into it!

I don't miss those days. I can't stand sticky hands so I had to constantly wash my children's. No eating or drinking in bed unless they were ill. Like Ben's mum I pampered my children when they were ill. I still do
