No absolutely not, that's why the question wasn't 'hello fellow site users, please may I have a drink, is it ok with you all?'

No,you are correct, you asked,"is it too early to have a drink"?

All I said was,do you really need the approval or permission of others, you being an adult.

Never missed it at any point really....I've never been much of a drinker since I got it out my system in my teens/early twenties....did a bit the end of last year though....yeah, think I may go for a deliberate dry Feb too....

I once did 3 months, about 20 yrs ago, and remember getting quite shirty when an ex poured some beer in ma orange juice

When I had my first drink, it only took about 4 pints and I was 3 sheets to the wind

It may have been a reason to start a friendly thread and a little bit of a chat rather than actually seeking permission...just a thought...

Wasn't looking an argument, just questioned why an adult on an adult site feels they need approval or permission from other adults to take a drink.

I wonder what your reaction would have been had the majority said no.would you have gone with the general consensus or had the drink anyway?

No need to answer that,we are adults,we know the answer

Oh really? You're behaving like Children and I will answer because you're behaving like Children.

As said above, a lighthearted thread to induce some conversation. Strangely enough we don't actually seek approval from forum members we just invite opinions.

It's pretty obvious that your 'questioning' was going to invoke this kind of response so really, you were being pointlessly argumentative.

Now we shan't bother to respond to any more of your childish remarks.

Thank you for your miserable input.
