Not fussed either way, my chosen team never do anything from season to season (Vikings).

Just hope 'deflategate' goes away and it's an entertaining spectacle.

I want the Patriots to win. The Seahawks play exciting football, but they got lucky against Green Bay (that throw-and-hope third touchdown really pissed me off).

A fourth Tom Brady victory would just be a better story. Plus I love Gronk - he's like a 6ft 6ins 12-year-old with his enthusiasm and goofiness. And it would shut Richard Sherman up, which can only be a good thing.

With a cracking _iew

Packers fan, so little interest in who wins, but would like to see a close game, going down to the wire in the last few seconds ...

Enjoy watching good defence, so should hopefully enjoy the game

I rarely watch the half-time show !

Takes ages to set up, giving the commentators and summarisers chance to re_iew the first half ...

The act they've chosen is on for 10-15 minutes, 'cos they've got to get the stage down for the second half ...

But the half-time commercials are a biggy, with the amount of money spent by the companies involved being one of the usual stats pointed out at this time -

"A 30-second advertisement during this year's game costs a cool $4.5 million. That's an average of $150,000 per second."

At those rates, an ad of the NFL player punching his girlfriends (later to be wife ) lights out in the lift would only cost $450-600K.

Maybe $6.15m for the player beating his very young son with a branch.

Priceless re the group of players who carried their paralytic rape victim from one house party to a second.

Yeah, good game good game.

I'm working across in Philly at the moment. Just about to head across to one of the local bars to try and get a seat to watch it.

My guess is the Patriots. They've been more consistent than the Seahawks, who only just scraped through the Play-off!

Have no real idea what is going on, but will watch it for a while. Does seem to be a lot of fat blokes trying to stop a couple of thin quick blokes. Too simplistic?

Sat on my sofa watching the game since I'm ill. Give me a proper sport like rugby where there's actual flow. From what I can see there's a few seconds of action followed by 15 replays and the commentators chatting rubbish

There's a picture going around of Reggie Sherman, who as a defender was off the field when that play went in, and he's just going 'what the fuck did my team just do?'

Derbys / Notts

The Patriots were immense and well deserved winners.

Carroll is a fud. Vile behaviour from the hawks when the Patriots were taking a knee at the end.

I haven't been this hungover for a long time. Think I am dying.

But totally worth.

GIRFUY to the haters
