Weird Facebook question

Guys would any kind soul try something forvme to see if it is just me, or is it a common phenomena? I have just been idly browsing through "suggested friends" on facebook and wow found some old school buddies,bike club members from 0 years ago and OMG double take vanilla photos of people from this site, who I dont THINK I have met off here and dont seem to know from my past. It could be my senility approaching or could be that facebook somehow has put two and two togethervto suggest that I get to know them - or has it somehow found a way to invade privacy even further? Other explanations are invited!

Could anybody try this themselves - and let me know?

I hope I havent had carnal knowledge of so many people Im forgeting who the hell they are, ohh the shame of it if I have

I think fb syncs your contacts using mob numbers or emails and then suggests them.to you

do you have thier phone numbers in any smart phone linked to your facebook ? can reverse add them that way i think

It does if you use the mobile App - we were caught like that ourselves There is a way to prevent it rooting through your numbers but I cant remember how

Facebook seems to be connected to absolutely everything in the world

There have been a few threads about people from fab appearing on facebook pages

OMG guys you are right!! Just found that a good mate, also a fellow perv after my own heart, has just been dumped by his hot gf becuase of this- no he didnt cheat on her but I think she somehow dussed from his fb account he was still actively commenting and chatting on here. OK, he was a bit naughty but I also know, that on the quiet, she was even naughtier. Is the moral, therefore, to be whiter than white or craftier than a fox?

Strangely enough been wondering about this the last few days. Someone I accidentally met out n about from fab has popped up on my suggestions list but they are local and have seven mutual friends so that one I was happy was a coincidence but, I've been getting very rude snapchsts from a guy I have never contacted or spoken to before asking me to return nude photos soooo wondering if there's something to this :/

Totally freaked me out the other day when it was suggesting my fab friends as 'people you may know'.

I keep my fab friends separate from my facebook friends and would like to keep it that way

Yep it has happened to me a number of times I actually came across two yesterday. I have spoken to them before. Plus I have a number of Facebook friends who are on fab .

No. Mine even bought up a bloke I hadn't seen for 3 years when I had a different phone and number. Dunno about Big Brother watching us but it definitely seems like Facebook is

When you download apps they state what permissions you give them. 'App can read texts, mail, access camera, photo album, phone contacts, web site history' etc. People click yeah ok fine by me.

Facebook suggests friends, pages you might like. You won't see most of it but your friends will see it in their newsfeeds. Friend X likes swinging, fetish sex ....

You clicked to say you accept Facebook accessing your personal data.

when I use fb on my phone, it asks me to sync contacts. I havent found anyone new on there from here. I have a couple of fab friends in my phone I think
