We've just got ours aand I can't help but think of all the lovely new angles for naughty pics.

Has anyone else had a chance to use it for naughty pics?

We have a three legged 'selfie stick' that hasn't been used in a while!

I haven't replaced my dslr, found it was easier to place than a tripod. I got it more for the remote more than anything else

I was away end of November in Mexico and loads had them. A woman had a pink one with diamonds all over it was like her nails so maybe its the new in thing .

It annoys me cycling along the sea front at Brighton, everyone who has a selfie stick is too interested in selfie to notice either, the cyclist coming at them as they have wandered into the cycle path, or they walk into people.

When we where in Belgium all the young ones had them, just posing anywhere with these sticks. The Japanese make me laugh they will stand next to anything and take a picture

I've never been a fan of selfies.

Really don't get the fascination of taking pictures of yourself from different angles.

Unless it's for sites like this.

But even then, use the timer or a remote.

there just sticks that you attatch your phone too to make it easier to take selfies from different angles

apparently, according to the news on the drive in to work, men post on average 3 selfies a week and women post 1.7.

I deduce from this that:

a. a lot of men got selfie sticks and can't resist paying with new tech.

b. women get people to take pictures for them.

As men never ask for help in anything, I can't see blokes going "quick, I got to get a pic of this, 'scuse me mate, can you take my picture?"

All the touristy spots are downright dangerous at the moment with the selfie sticks sticking out all over the place. I'm short but I nearly got poked in the eye with someone sticking their stick in my path to cross the road.
