If you watch bbc news it appears that peace has broken out across the world. No problems in the middle east, no economic instability. We have snow, an earthquake in the east midlands and a diplodocus is being moved from the british museum classed as "those are the top stories".

A political blackout pre election swaying freedom of the press? Of course not, he scoffs.
