Right I've got cold, ( cold doesn't do it justice, MAN FLU) need all your old wives tales. Need to be right by Friday

There's no cure, just treat your symptoms. Paracetamol, rest, vitamins and fluids.

put some vick on the bottom of your feet wear some old socks keep them on in bed and it will draw the cold out

turn heating up to full get under a few duvets and sweat the damn thing out

dosnt always work though

its normally what i would do to get rid of colds and i normally dont have them long only a day and its gone not with this new damn cold though the damn thing lingers like hell

Cut some lemon up and add honey and hit water. take paracetamol regular. And get lots of sleep.

Plenty of fresh air, outdoor work or exercise and copious amounts of water. Will not only go, you may well find they never return.

I have used a cold prevention nasal spray for two years now and have never had a cold in that time. Its a saline gel that you spray in each nostril and it traps the invading viruses there. Don't use the Vicks one though as they put menthol in it which takes the lining off your nose. Boots own brand cold defence is best

The only researched help to ease a cold more quickly is Zinc.

Meds may give you some relief from symptoms but not cure it.

Obviously rest is important.

Honey,freshy sliced lemon and freshly grated ginger in hot water.

Vicks on your feet at night(socks on)

Steam.

Drink plenty,and stay warm.
