So not a date you've been on but a great night you've had with a partner either in or out of the house.

Mine has to be when we built a fort in the living room.. Had melted chocolate fondu and watch the power rangers movie.

It was great fun but then me and the missus are total geeks.

How about you?

St Lucia, a place called Jade Mountain. Had a private dinner served by our butler, cocktails on tap, over looking the ocean. when we had finished we went for a moonlight dip in the infinity pool with candles lit around the edge. The rest is history... Along with him

The most memorable one I had was going out for drinks, then to a house party, on to Vauxhall to a club and finally catching a night bus back to go to the National Gallery in the morning without having slept.

The best ones are the nights in where you plan to watch a film but get too distracted by each other.

About a year ago.....a few texts between me and husband of couple I'd met a lot......, agreed to pick her up that evening to take her out...

Arrived and greeted by hubby and then she appeared....looking amazing in nice figure hugging dress and black heels...

Drove out to a lovely country pub where flirted, kissed, played with her discreetly....

Stopped on way home and enjoyed some very sensual kissing before taking her home and then in and up to bed........hubby watched before joining in.....

one of the most sexy nights in everyway ever....

If there is a fort involved it's definitly a winner with romance!

Forts are the way to go.

It surprises me when women say that they've never been on a date or have some one wanting to show them a little romance.

Every woman that wants it deserves a little romance and of course of a fort

This would be lovely - but for me the fort would have had to already been built... All white with candles lit. Something fizzy, preferably alcoholic, cheese and biscuits & fruit. Fire burning, dimmed lights and music on instead of tv. And maybe a few board games instead like scrabble. That would be bliss right now!

The best piece of advice I think ive ever been given, is that sometimes you need to go one step further.. Eg, don't buy an empty photo album, fill it with pictures too.

Bonfire night 2003, I took my girlfriend at the time onto the moors near Glossop so we could watch all the fireworks coming up from the town.

I proposed to her she said yes, but the relationship fizzled out in the End, I was in the RAF she was at uni and we didn't get to see each other enough.

When I was poor and young told my ex to pack a bag to attend mates club opening and then stay at after party hotel for her 21st. Went to airport to pick him up. Suggested it would be fun to queue up in check in line and pretend we're going somewhere as we wait for him. Got to checkout counter and when asked where we flying, I responded 'Paris.' She was in shock! 2 hours and champagne flight later having wild passionate nights on the balcony of a 4 star overlooking the twinkling lights of the Louvre.

Well if you like power rangers you'll love this.

I've chatted to tommy the green ranger, Aiesha the yellow ranger and rocky the red ranger.

Theyve all seen my film work and commented on how much they like it.... This made me a happy geek

Walking along Camber beach one night with my husband. I'd been very ill and he was being nice for a change and took me away for a couple of days. That was when I found out tea tree shower gel burns my nethers. The beach was nice, not totally deserted, but the sea sounded lovely and the breeze was warm. He held my hand for the first and only time in 30 years

I love a bit of scrabble. Well I did once (and this is some next level soppyness) bake 2 dozen cup cakes. Arrange them in a love heart with roses in the middle and have candles going because she had had a bad day.

The cup cakes were crap but you can't win em all

First time I ever cooked for anyone other than myself was when a girl was coming over, laid out the room in candles and fairy lights so it looked amazing, had romantic music playing etc... The works.

The only thing I lacked was chairs as I had only recently moved in so we had this lovely romantic setting then one of those tiny Ikea tables, her in a computer chair and me on a deck chair stolen from a music festival.

I liked to think the romantic trumped the goofy aspect but I doubt it.

Some people think you need to spend a lot of money to treat a lady properly......

Your story just proves you don't have to, because it's the fort that counts........

I'm so lucky to have a very thoughtful and romantic husband. Too many lovely things to put on here but one of my favourites was he prepared a treasure hunt around the house and garden for my birthday. Each new present had a jigsaw piece with it with the clue for the next present on one side and a random letter on the other side. Eventually after working my way through them all the last clue suggested going to the garage with all the jigsaw pieces. I got there, opened the door to find Hubby starkers apart from a beret and a baguette in a suitable place He was surrounded my French wine, jam, croissants, string of onions, French films on DVD etc and the pieces of the jigsaw came together to spell "Paris"!
