Just made a quick profile on there, took 10 minutes or so to answer all the questions and at the end of it, no matches! Can't even view anybody or look at photos or find people or send a message without signing up which costs £44 quid for one month. It goes down to about £13 quid a month if you subscribe for the year but fuck me I thought that was way too expensive!

Nope, didn't let you do anything without registering. Like some sites let you have a little browse of members but this you had to register with an email and answer lots of questions. After I'd done it all it said there were no matches for me! No option to browse for anyone and every action requires paid membership. Even if they'd found a match you have to be a member to read the message and even view the picture!

Elite is designed for the high earning clients who want to find love or a shag or whatever. The reason they put the membership so high is that they want to attract the wealthy and off the average earning person hence why it's called elite. However it doesn't mean that it's any better than the cheaper dating sites.

Iirc it was about £40/month for men and free for women!

That was nearly 6 years ago....

For us, the model of paying to keep out 'time wasters' worked....I'm assuming that's their reasoning for payment.

Other than PoF they're all the same.

Only difference with Elite/Match is that everyone has to pay to view/message.

All the rest are fine if you're female.

If you're a guy then you have to pay!

Plenty More Fish, BeNaughty, Married Dating, etc all charge guys to view/message yet women can do everything for free!

Nights out are few and far between. Mon-fri I'm home and have my daughter, I have a Saturday day and night free whilst she is over her Dads but then all my friends are in relationships and they don't go out that much so it's hard to meet people.
