What amazes me is how the surivors went on to lead a relatively normal lives. I'm so glad they have but the shear bravery astounds me

Titz Towers, North Notts

A very disturbing period. The book 'Ordinary Men' on the topic is worrying in itself.

given what they had been through i can only imagine they would want to live a life to the utmost in memory of those who didn't survive..

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Survivors of all the holocausts amaze me. Strong people who find even more strength to defy those who wanted to see them dead by living good lives.

Jay gets really upset, he is a big war fanatic especially about the Jews as jay is Jewish he always says if it have been in this country he would of been one of the victims.

He tells me a lot about it but it affects me more when you actually hear the survivors reliving their story
