What do people think, can one person be so in love with another so that it's too much?

Yes. It can lead to them treating you badly or you treating them badly. I will never be in love again

That's sad as you come across as a very lovable person.

Too much for what?

Our own feelings are private and only ourselves can ever experience them, as well as quantify them.

Can our behaviors be influenced by our emotions - Yes. But we have control over how we behave, even if we are overwhelmed.

Just acting based on emotions is somewhat like a child or an animal that can't think.

Others may think someone loves them too much, but this is possibly telling of something else. Too much, too soon. An imbalance. A partner or both having issues. Perhaps a blind love that one has, potentially not really knowing the object of their love.

Love is probably more a symptom of something. Most things can be appropriate in the right context, so there's not one simple answer this question.

I count my blessings every day for my soul mate and consider myself to be very lucky indeed. I wouldn't change a single thing about him. Slushy maybe but never a truer word spoken.

When love becomes possessive it becomes too much

Not if you both feel the same way and it's your soulmate as someone said earlir, yes if it's unreciprocated or obsessive.

Exactly, context is everything. I suspect the OP has something out of balance in mind.

I never realized you had a choice in such things.

All depends on your character - I love to infinity my daughter, partner, cats and a few others (parents have died but same with them).

My love is unconditional but never has a dark side i.e. jealousy, control or possessiveness.

It's just a lovely feeling

Nor me, I have never been in love in all my life, I have never had that feeling of butterfly's in my tummy when I know I'm going to see someone or been in a hurry to get home to the one I love, I love my kids with all my heart but that's a different type of love

No, If you love someone then you love them.

Too little or too much doesn't enter into the equation you just love them...Simples

Gimp

This, as it's not fully reciprocated.

I think love is a that feeling you get, ultimately combined with choice. You make a conscious decision to love someone. I think you choose to put the other person first, treat them with respect and want to do things for them. For me that's what separates a teen crush with grown up, adult love in a relationship.

Having said that, I love you all, you are all kinda Fab.
