It's ok..it aint that bad.

The therapist couldn't have been doing it properly if you bled.

The very first time I had a Brazillian I ended up covered in bruises Put me off for quite a few years until I found out it shouldn't be like that.

Yes, it stings, especially if you have very long hairs but it gets better each time you go as the hairs grow back less.

I think it depends on the type of waxing. Strip waxing is more painful on sensitive areas - my waxer uses specialist waxes. Maybe try finding a waxer hat uses Perron Rigot waxes, they are less hot and are peeled off rather than stripped. It still hurts but it comparison to her stripping my naval - it isn't as abrasive at all.

The therapist I used to see before I moved had a lot of male clients and told me it's very, very common to get an erection during intimate waxing. Most guys do. She said most therapists who treat guys won't bat an eyelash about it.

The only time it might be a problem is with someone new and inexperienced or badly trained.

Don't worry about it. Seriously.

That goes for any other guys who worry about this during waxing.

Does your therapist use a good quality hot wax?

Try taking some Cocodamol or other painkiller an hour before the appointment. Also don't drink caffeine before the appointment because it can make it more painful. Avoid going if you have a cold or feel under the weather as it usually hurts more then too.

You could also try going every 5 weeks instead of 6. There needs to be a certain amount of regrowth to wax but the less time the roots have to get strong, the better.

If you're getting waxed regularly it really shouldn't be that painful.
