I'm single but I'd rather receive a lovely gift on any other day, not valentines day. It's just a commercial day when people get to say "I love you". More meaningful on any day.

I'm having a non valentine, Valentines as I'm going to see a show in London.

I remember getting a bottle of perfume that smelt awful once from a lad at school and a frys chocolate cream posted through my letterbox. Romance isn't dead!

Very much agree with you!! A way for florists to double prices, restaurants to charge much for a mouthful of nothing, if you really love someone you will do this many other days of the year.... Only for the woman to wonder what you had done wrong lol

So now I sound totally cynical!!
