Why do some people fib about themselves on here?

Silly things like.... "Mrs is size 10 with DD boobs" when you can clearly see she's a size 20 with AA boobs from the pictures.

I don't give a hoot what size/weight etc etc you are but at least be honest about it so you're not wasting people's time.

At the end of the day not everybody is gonna be everybody's else's cup of tea and surely it's just better & easier if everyone tells the truth from the off, is it not??

Plus what's all this can't accomodate, can't travel I've been seeing lately? Lol

You're gonna have loads of luck if you can't do either.

Oh and another thing "I am a professional" A professional what??

Jobs yes not just professionals.. I'm pretty sure people just make it up half the time in the hope that if/when a meet comes to light that the person they're meeting will just 'do it anyway'

I go for the kill when chatting as sometimes it's the vague unspoken truths that can deflect attention. The 'average' build that is a 38 plus waist on a short guy - far removed from Shag's 6 pack.

Some.times fibs can help with discretion, but on the whole the truth will always out so best to not fib too much.

I know a few people on here who fib to one extent or another on their profile and on here. Some I am friends with and some I'm not.

Some fibs I can understand and forgive but some would have me considering retribution with a butter knife. Sometimes fibbers are best avoided totally.

It also matters how early they come clean about the fib.

I think there's a fair proportion of people on here who don't know what a profession actually is.

I can't really understand that because even wikipedia, the go to reference of the masses, has a good description and a lot of detail on the matter.

U lose ur trust straight away. ..

I only accommodate while my kids are at school... that also depends on my rota.... I don't like to travel far and I tend to only meet those I feel completely comfortable with. ...

Working professionally is not the same as having a profession.

A lot of those on here use it as a status symbol, which having a true profession can be seen (by some) to be. Having a job which you're paid for is not quite the same thing.

Effectively a lot are masquerading as doctors, lawyers and the like, in so many words, to try to get a shag.

It's funny though and it's another indicator of what a person is like.

I was always curious about people (me included!!) using the "curvy" description. Ok I know there aren't many options but I would hate to meet someone who thought I was going to be a Kelly Brook style curvy but just saw me as fat instead!

I'd always be truthful no point in lying. If people don't like me,I won't lose sleep. Everyone is not to everyones taste. I have had a meet though where the man looked at least 20 years older than pic and slightly heavier. I did him a cup of tea and saw him off x

It's human nature to tell the odd pork pie but, from our experiences, there are a minority on here that have told some absolute corkers!!

For comedy value some are absolutely priceless!!

We always assume that "professional" means "we both have bloody good jobs, earn lots of money, own 2 Mercs, have our own holiday home in Barbados and will only meet people that live up to our standards" but we could be wrong
