RUGBY i need help n watch out the rest of u!!

SUM1 OR SUMBODY IS HACKING INTO MY PROFILE N CHANGING WOT IM LOOKING FOR ETC CHANGING MY SETTINGS N GUESS WOT SUM1 SUM HOW HAS STOLEN 3PRIVATE PHOTOS FROM MY PRIVATE COLLECTION!!!!

YES STOLEN!!!

PLZ HELP!!

It can only have been someone you have told your password to or you used a very weak password that someone else has guessed!

First point of call you have already done which was change your password.

Have you been using anyone else's PC to log in with?

Do you have your password and username stored on windows and does anyone else have access to your PC?

Have also mailed you. x

Changed password deffo.

no never used any1 elses at all,,,never.

not sure about windows storing passord on there but im sure i havent..no1 has access to my pc apart from my mum..

so not sure wot to think?

This is what Admin are about to put into FAQ......seems a good time to paste it here.

There is a persistant rumour that people's details are being "hacked".

This implies that someone could break into our database and steal passwords. This is not possible. Our database is on a seperate server behind a firewall. The server is locked down to the nth degree and the only people who can get in is us, restricted by our specific IP on the firewall. The passwords in the database are also encrypted and are only decrypted at login to verify. They are never shown on the site.

The following are reasons why peoples accounts are compromised ("hacked"), as verified vy us after checking pretty much every reported "hack" to us.

1: The user shares their password with friends, partners, lovers (this is the most common cause of "compromised" accounts).

2: People login on other folks computers who run a keylogger (we see this via the login history of both parties, matched via verifications!). When we explain this to people they simply don't believe us.

3: In a couple, the partner changes/removes the profile and denies it (we see this because we record IP address and password of all account deletions).

4: The users use the same password on all sites they're on (including crappy ones run by idiots who don't encrypt passwords), and site admins on other sites login using their info. On Fab, passwords are hidden from all users and admins.

5: The users email account is shared/compromised and the "hacker" gets their password from our initial signup email to there.

THE ADVICE TO THE USER SHOULD BE TO IMMEDIATELY CHANGE THEIR PASSWORD AND NOT TO LOGON ON OTHER PEOPLES COMPUTERS (changing password also causes any other active logged in sessions where the user has chosen to remain logged in, to log out and require login again).

i havent a clue about the in's n outs' of internet pc's etc wots in the systems etc too complicated im afraid..

but ive got my photos back in private folder n changed password too.

Unless you delete history every time your on the p.c or have the google chrome hide facility, your mum may be able to sign in and see every site you visit!
