How many women here receive 200-400 messages a day? I've heard that's common, probably among new members I bet.

Did you try and make an effort to read them all at first? A thread got me thinking what it must be nice at first, then become annoying after a while. Often assumed women don't use the search function because of the influx?

If you don't use extreme filters and stay signed in all day you can get that amount. Just getting 20 or 30 in an hour gives me a headache reading them and answering. It's not flattering,I'm here for sex not an ego boost

I rarely get more than 10 a day and they'll be from people on my friends list. As said above, filters help, and anyone who doesn't use them and complains about number of messages get all they deserve.

As for the one off messages I do get, I check out their profiles first and, if they are obviously not what I am looking for then I don't even open the message.

I don't think that's particularly normal other than for new members, unless you're someone who posts new pics all the time or goes on cam a lot.

I had a popular photo last week and got about 800 in 2 days which was ridiculous. It's a bit too many but some good ones shone through my triage process

It's just made me more immune to feeling any guilt at deleting without replying to the one liners and ones from people who I can tell without evening opening I wouldn't get on with.

Someone I used to see from here said she had met guys who zay they send strings of messages to one, then another and another etc etc, so on and so on, just to get noticed, I found this quite funny, but at the same time, couldn't do it myself

I get around that many, but it's probably because I'm in or around London (I also have certain filters on, too).

It's not flattering as most messages are just a scatter gun approach but it's not off putting, and it's certainly nothing to moan about. When I am looking to meet, I do wish I had higher quality messages from people that were better suited but so does everyone.

I have all my filters on now apart from age as mine are a guide, but when I first joined? I lasted a week and deleted my profile! Had over 300 messages in a day, then I came back a lot more savvy and thick skinned.

Women getting 100's of messages a day? Bullshit lol, if they do it's because they love the attention and have no filters in place.

So they might like to use that as an excuse hey ho.

You only get that sort of numbers of mail when new, or your sticking profiles on your profile all the time or your camming all the time. If you don't want all that attention stick your filters on, don't post photo's (works wonders)!

When I first joined and when my photos have been in most fabbed I got between 500 and 1000 messages a day most days. I probably still get 50+ a day and I have active filters. If someone sends a vulgar message they get blocked. I find it means I actually read my messages now rather than bulk delete.

I'd say in excess of that figure for newbie women. My friend had 850 in a few hours when she joined recently. Without filters this site would never work. Sure the messages decrease over time but there are some single men (and yes they are usually single men) that will message a newbie profile with no pics and minimal txt just becsuse they are female (in fact 850 of them lol) Sad chancers!!

Yeah I see the same on statuses on women that they get loads of emails and cant reply to all, surely they know all women get similar amounts? as the ratio is 100 men to 1 woman.

I find the hundreds of messages I get every day extremely tedious, just haven't got time to answer them all so I delete and block all the ones that don't appeal, especially the one line.. Hey gorgeous, fancy a shag messages. C'mon ladies, put the effort in and ffs read the profile, engage my mind and you may get me to drop my boxers. I've been on here a month and I'm getting 100-200 a day still. Love it when I occasionally get one from a hottie!!

To get lots of messages, I've discovered you need to update your status regularly with something fun/sexy.

I once put that I'd been stood up and my inbox exploded!

Adding new photos does it too.

As does indulging in face pic Friday or posting some threads on the forums.

Getting in the first few pages on the hot photos list gets you messages a lot.

Erm...

I suspect being on cam gets you loads but so far I haven't done that yet!

It is nice at first but then you realise a lot of guys on here work on the law of average, meaning if they cut and paste the same message to every woman they look at eventually one will reply and they will get a meet, I sometimes wonder if guys who have mailed me even realise and if I mailed them back would they even remember or actually want to meet me, this is a why I don't even bother opening most never mind replying

I'm sure if I replied to most of my mail by the time they had taken time to look at me properly they wouldn't have mailed me in the first place

I've never got anywhere near that volume of messages. I'm resigning myself to the fact that I must be totally unappealing. Either that or I use my filters wisely.

I just don't understand why those that complain about so many messages don't do something about it.

We get that amount, not always but on certain days such as an ad put up or a particular pic takes a grip so to speak. Flattering and appreciated and we can't answer all so will do with the ones we like regardless of a meet opportunity or not. Very few filters for us we should add.
