My lab paces around playing the furniture like dave grohl then sits beside me like a vulture. I want food. This service is just not good enough.

Both our dogs are pretty good and will usually still be snoring their heads off when someone gets up

My German Shepherd is pretty good. Always gets us up for 7 for his breakfast. But then goes back to bed

Only trouble is he sleeps on my bed. He has several beds. Yet prefers mine... And at 5 months old he's huge already lol

Thank you everyone! I thought my spaniel was the only one to demand breakfast with menaces and then go back to bed!

Dogs don't have owners anymore. They have slaves lol

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I don't have a dog but one of my cats wakes me up as soon as it starts to get light. The other remains passed out until I get up. She may then get up, she may open bleary eyes before passing out again.

I have a Labrador and a greyhound they greyhound will sleep all day if you let him, they're lazy buggers, the lab is on the go all day every day, he would walk the clock round if you had the time, wakes me up through the night most nights with a ball in his mouth wanting the play

My girl is exactly the same! Typical black lab! She's a lazy big mare when it comes to sleeping but as soon as I'm up she's just wants to walk all day.

I get very, very close to wanting a dog - then I remember what a huge committment they are and I like my freedom to go away on my child-free weekends!

Rent-a-dog - now there's an idea! xx

My daughter's little dog licks my face to wake me up. He sleeps next to me in my arms, with his face next to mine. In the morning he doesn't move a muscle, just sticks his tongue out to lick my nose
