Falling for someone over messages

After messaging a certain fab lady on here for about a day and a half I am finding myself completely intrigued by the effect she has had, just wondered if anyone else had ever had this before even meeting someone?

A long time ago.. 12 years to be precise. I started chatting to a man on line. It soon became on the phone. It took two years before we finally met. I took a risk went to the other end of the country because I felt I had to know. Within that 15 hours in his company I fell in love. It was quite an affair over a number of years.it has to be said and at times very painful for us both. He went on and married someone else and for two and a half years we didn't speak. Until just before new year there was an email out of the blue. Just reading his words brought back every emotion I'd tried to forget. Suddenly I'd gone back in time. Some feelings never truly leave. Life just makes you put them to the side to move on.

So in answer to your question I know it truly is possible. However in a day and a half I'd be surprised x

I was chatting to a guy online when I was about 14. I'd never met him, still haven't. I thought I was in love with him. When I was 17 he broke my heart to the extent that I wouldn't go to college, wouldn't eat, couldn't sleep etc. He disappeared for 3 years. In that time I got married. Then about a month before my husband kicked me out, he popped up on Facebook and we started chatting. I realised that I did love him. It brought up old feelings. I started distancing myself from my husband when I realised that the old feelings I had for this guy were stronger than my then current feelings for my husband. It wasn't deliberate. I think there will always be something there, but I don't love him any more. I've decided never to meet him incase those feelings come back tenfold. Especially as he has a girlfriend.

I've experienced this and then we met put it down to lust and experience...nothing came of it as real life is do much more different than the internet. We can be whoever we want over the internet. In real life we are exposed to who we really.

I've not myself, but had 2 women on here get strong feelings for me (one of them a very popular user), to the point where one of them got really angry if I met someone else and almost became a stalker. She still messages me now occasionally on KIK but I keep it quick, I had to block her on here, I don't like the idea of ignoring people totally

I experienced it with someone last year on a dating site. We spoke online and over the phone for over a month. Things got very intense when the BF word got mentioned. I had to slow it down, until we met.

Today, we are really good mates(who occasionally have sex) and if things were different, I know we'd be in a relationship.

I hope the OP doesn't let thing run away, but enjoys these exciting times.

Wise words. Yes, I have been completely bewitched by people online before, sometimes fairly suddenly.

Don't trust it 'til you meet, but sometimes you can feel just the same when you do - good luck, enjoy the ride whatever it is!

Yep. This is why I don't tend to meet single guys.. I have found it happens both ways. It's much easier to go to a party where there is no build up or expectation.. I have fun and leave and that's it.

Although saying that. I've only met two guys on my current and old profile, who I've really felt a strong connection with. One turned out to be married, and the other... Well who knows. Time will tell.

I do think a day and a half is a bit quick to fall for someone, how can you possible my know all about her life.

I've got a few guys that I see regularly one of them over eight years, I'm very fond of them but would never fall for them

Also none of them are type to have a proper relationship with, we have sex, good old natter a few messages back and forth between meets

Yes. After a couple of messages starting 17 November 2013, met on 24 not been apart since, been living together for the last six months.
