Guys are always asking for advice on here and it seems the main advice given is get yourself to socials.

How many of you have ventured to a social on your own with the purpose of getting yourself known either playing or networking and are you glad you did?

I have been to a club for a social but I knew who I was meeting,

I have put my name down on a few fab socials but for various reasons been unable to make them,

But I hope I can make the one I have my name down for the end of February

I've met some really nice people. I don't regret it.

I ve been to the sheffield social organisded by tempting devil met a few forum regulars.. I'd hoped to get to a couple more forum socials last year circumstances prevented me attending those... I'm at the wakefield social this saturday. heres to a good night

I don't go to the socials as i like to be private about things...they do sound fun though and i hope people enjoy themselves [oh, I ma sure they do!].

I don't have pics on here or whatever but I am verified and happy with how the site works for me...t's not about meet after meet or whatever.

We are all different i guess, and you can be genuine without doing all the things that people feel you have to to 'proove' you are real.

Always positive, never here for any other reason...and there's room for us all to enjoy the place in whatever way we wish.

I do enjoy the forums more and more...Good luck to all

I did many times in the past(and some occasional recent times..for the new faces)..I dont understand the fear of going to a pub where uve seen most peoples bits before meeting them

Been to a couple, work keeps getting in the way! Shitting myself the first time but got chatting to some lovely people. Well worth it.

While people like to keep things private it's worth remembering that the only people who know why you're at the pub are the people on this site. You get a stranger mix of people at a works outing so it's not like you're going to stand out.

Had no agenda really just to have a gander and say hello, nothing more.

Pleased I did it and I got a positive vibe from it.

To be fair. I do owe it to one person (and a few others) who made the club experience easy for me.

I really don't like being on my own unless i'm wondering around, exploring and being nosey. But, she was good company and everybody i met have been a good laugh.

I'm not the most sexually open person but i do love a good laugh. And that's what i've had in all the socials i've been to.

Not socials but Ive been to clubs. In fact I joined Fab on a monday, went to my first club on tuesday and my second club on Thursday, and Ive ben a regularr club goer since. I was shaking like a leaf the first time I went in, in fact I shaked like a leaf for several weeks as I was going through the front door but that eventually wears off. I have far more success meeting people face to face rather than sending speculative messsages on here.

It helps to become a regular at one place and people will will get to know you and start to recognise you as a regular. You wont play with everyone you meet of course but those that dont want to play with you might ontroduce you to someone that does.

I go to socialise and make new friends, playing is a bonus.

Met some lovely people, had some great playtimes, and made some really good friends so yes Im very glad I did.

Love socials, it's like going to the pub, but.... With a gang of like minded people. Playing we consider, if we do a bonus. We have had some brilliant nights and giggles at socials.

Even i ventured to one, was a little terrifying if i'm honest. The door staff even suggested i shouldn't go in as "there are swingers in there".

Was Ok though, but only kept in touch with one person who i met there.

I went to Chams on my own a few year's back. It was a lovely evening, socialised with a few nice people, but was nervous!. Sat in the hot tub, and watched a couple fuck, her leg was brushing mine as they were right next to me! Horny wasn't the word!

ive been to loads of socials and all over the country for a social and sometimes a special event

for my first i was nervous at blackpool but im not a prude and just got stuck into it and had a great time there

im glad i did it and still do enjoy the socials and meets with other members of the site its also great to meet up with old friends again at these socials
