I've charged mine to 100% 6 times today. Let it go down to 10% before I put it back on charge. Argh.

Lol or if it's an all singing smart phone you may have too many apps open working away in the back ground. Draining the power

Is the phone getting hot? Has it been water damaged? Sometimes just taking it into the bathroom is also classed as water damage due to the steam. Only asking as it happened to mine, phone heats up bad and battery drains so fast.

It's the iPhone 5c

I have a waterproof case that I use when I go out or when I'm in the shower

It gets hot when it's on charge and I'm using it

I still use the 4s it's years old but the battery can survive a 12 hour flight playing music and games. Take it back and get it fixed.

Yeah you could probably get it swapped easily, maybe look at battery tracking apps?

Google it. I have an iPhone 5 and battery only lasted 2 hours after 2 years. Googled it and there were faults on certain phones bought at certain times. Got a free battery installed. Worth a look

If you're even using it in the shower, you could be using it too much.

There could be things that you can switch off though to help, Bluetooth and GPS for example and wifi if you are using the 3g.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Can you download task manager? That shuts down anything you're not using and saves RAM.

My new phone has a battery that lasts for ages!!

Why would you need to take your phone into the shower?

Also I've heard that running it nearly empty then charging it is no good for it. You need to let it run down completely some times and charge it from flat.

I have an iPhone 5c too and have the same problem.

Blue tooth being switched on seems to be the major cause.

I have a 5c and the battery life is fine but I don't hammer the usage. I can get a day of moderate usage out of it.

I don't use it for Fab though

When I said take it into the shower I didn't mean literally leaving it on the side! Some people......

Iv got a 5c and the battery lasts all day usually.

Get it checked at an Apple Store and also you Gandhi go on google and maybe YouTube and find ways to change various settings easily that reduce the battery use - such as how often your email updates by itself

In Your Bush

There are lots of settings on the iPhone that you can change to preserve battery life. A few of them have been mentioned above. Main drainers are:

Wifi

Bluetooth

Apps set to continually refresh

Email set to push new data

Fab 'Who's Near' function drains it like a cock hungry blow job queen.

Battery's only have a certain recharge life though. If it is on its last legs, get it changed as they are prone to swelling and busting out of the case. I bought a new one for my old 4s from ebay and changed it myself.

I keep wifi and Bluetooth etc off unless needed. I monitor what's using battery and restrict apps. The biggest drain is GPS on mine so satnav is restricted for when essential.

Some phones just don't have good battery life. Check to see if there's a higher capacity battery available. Ops may just be a duff one but wont be covered by guarantee in all likelihood.

I've got an iPhone5s aswell and it's useless, never leave home without a charger and a power pack! Mind the 4s I had previously was crap too! Wish I could get my head around the android phones as they seem much better than the apple ones! My iPad. Is great though, shame they can't get the battery life issues dealt with really!

Mine was on 100% when I left the house an hour ago now it's 83%!
