I'd have loved to own the E-Type that's in one of our pics on here but sadly it was just borrowed for a shoot.

A Jensen Interceptor is another favourite.

My ex and I had a 1970 Rover P6 (think of the White one Annie Walker had in Corrie if you're old enough to remember that far back)...we hadn't long had it when my mate and I went to Alton Towers and it wouldn't start on the way home...called the AA and after about an hour and a half fannying around with it, he checked the petrol tank, realised it was empty and the fuel gauge was faulty...red faces all around!

Wouldn't like to own one - you'd be spending too much time fiddling with it and not enough time swinging.

But I've done photoshoots several times with classic cars - I think the loveliest was a 1959 Bentley Continental. The Mustang in my photo on here was a very rude car that vibrated the entire street.

Further posing invitations always welcomed!

Cant remember what number his 2nd Keeble is but its a creamy white and gorgeous! I first got a ride in it in 70 and it is still being used daily. The prototype was a wreck when he found it, took years to restore and to be honest I have never seen it since it went into his barn/workshop for restoration...

There was another old bloke in my home town who looked like a tramp and lived in a broken down old bungalow, he had a garage full of Vincent motorcycles including an ultra rare white black shadow. No one knew about the bikes until he died. There was also Spanns Garage, when old man Spann died and his barn was opened it was full of BSA motorcycles going back to prewar models still in their unopened factory packing cases!

Some strange people used to live in and around my home town!

I was doing a model shoot a few years ago and as myself and the model were walking to the venue I spotted a DB5 on a drive. Knocked on the door and asked if I could use it for a shoot. He said no problem give him a shout when we were ready and he'd move it off the drive so the house wasn't in the shots (they backed onto open countryside)

I called back later and they were having a BBQ with friends. He moved the car while obviously as pissed as a twat...braver man than me!

Got some lovely photos though

Ta, I do love her but I'm not 'into' cars really although her colour makes her one of only ten in the country.

That'll be MrWho's ulterior motive then...he's just after your car! "

I've actually turned down numerous offers to drive it!

It's a fantastic though and I love sticking my head under her bonnet and fiddling with her greasey bits. The cars quite nice too!

Fell in love with Daimler V8 as a kid and bought one as my first car when I was 18. All my mates were driving minis and escorts. Went on to the SP250 Dart later. I'll always be a V8 man.

Damn!I think I'll go and buy an S'Type!

I own a 1990 range rover classic 2 door its in near mint condition as i bought it in spain where i live. For those that know these cars it has original top and bottom tailgate! Cleanest example ive seen in over 30 years experience of them. Very rare in uk now.

I would very much like to have a Ford Mustang 1967-69ish, either convertible or fastback. Fingers crossed next couple of years!

All I need is a fresh set of clothes and a young lady, and my mid-life crisis would be complete!

I'd like to own a 64-69 Mustang, have owned a 71 Mustang But the newest version of the Shelby or Bullitt would also do at a push.

There was a comment about a year back that the '98 MX5 isn't yet a classic

I beg to differ but I'm biased

I've had the pleasure of working on a few classic escorts, cortina's etc so much simpler than todays overcomplicated computers on wheels.

I’ve had three I’d consider classics

74 Rover P6 3500S

68 Jaguar S-Type 3.4s

67 Mercedes 280SE 3.5

I’ve had others that are now collectible but when I had them I considered them to be pieces of crap! My Rover SD1 V8S fitted that group.

Would love the convertible version of the above Merc but would need a small lottery win!

H has a MK1 Volvo C70 Convertible that lives under a cover most of the time that might get in the collectible group one day I guess.

My brother had an Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV Veloce Coupè, a 1970 model, and of course, in Ferrari Red.

He restored it to Concours standard and took it to car shows & won awards.

Unfortunately when returning from a short holiday, he was caught up in traffic tailback on an M1 contra-flow. A truck behind failed to see the stationary traffic & ploughed into it, writing off 3 cars including my brothers!

Undeterred, he bought an AlfaSud from the insurance money. He still runs Alfa's, loves them.
