How many fabbers do this? I can't stand ash tray breath and never meet those who fess up on their profiles.

As a non smoker I can smell the stuff from 20 paces and find the smell distinctly unsexy.

when i met lisa i pretty much stopped smoking overnight as i felt it unfair me smoking when she never has,

myself i dont mind smokers or non smokers but for someone who has never smoked i can see why they might have a preference for non smokers, theres no point hiding it if you do smoke,

Nope I'm a smokers and my profile states this, I do not meet none smokers so not point pretending to be one

To be honest I'd more class myself as a social smokers as I really only smoke when I have had a drink, I can go weeks without a fag if I don't go out but a fag and a pint seem to just go together, but seeing as all my first meets are for a drink and a chat the chances are on a meet I'll smoke so I state smoker

Funny how many people question why when you tell them you don't want to meet none smokers yet its acceptable to say you don't meet smokers

I'm a smoker. I don't lie about it, no point as it does smell.

Although i know the smell isn't pleasant so i clean up right before a non-smoking meet gets here to make sure i don't smell of cigs (even if they say they will meet smokers), and yeah even i can tell if they lied and said they don't smoke, it's in their breath. I don't like that they lied either, i made an etra effort by reshowering just before they got here to get rid of most of the smell. I'm likely have gone without a cig for ages too.

With us being both smokers if we are meeting with non smokers we do our best to smoke less and when we do we give our teeth a good scrub after each cigarette to try to at least mask the smell and taste plus add aftershave or perfume. I personally althoughsmoke dont like the smell of it either but its a hard addiction to give up. When meeting with smokers well we smoke like we normally would

Should also add dont see why people say they dont smoke when they do on here as if meeting a non smoker the non smoker will be able to tell right away unless they have a bad sense of smell lol

I don't lie about being a fag ash lil but seem to meet guys who say they don't smoke then we meet and they chuff away. I prefer to meet smokers but if they don't I can go without a fag or ask them if they mind me having a fag.

I quite often get messages from smokers and when I reply to say sorry, I don't meet smokers, (as if it isn't on my profile twice), nine times out of ten they tell me they quit last month and just haven't changed their profile yet.

If they haven't changed their profile, at least to make a note in the text that they recently quit, I don't believe they have and I decline to meet.

Sometimes I check back just out of interest and lo, a couple of months later their profile still says smoker.

I am amazed how many think they can have a shower and not smoke for a couple of hours before a meet and I won't be able to tell.

If someone says they are a non-smoker and turns up for a meet smelling or tasting of cigarettes, that's the end of the meet. It's also me seriously unimpressed at being lied to.

I smoke, and not particularly shy about admitting it...why would I want to go to a meet and spend it wanting a cig?

I try and be considerate around those who don't.....I know its not perfect but I carry mints and stuff (so I probably taste of menthol fags)

I dunno.....I don't see the point of bullshitting about it and getting people to meet me on a false pretence...seems kinda sneaky.

We are both smokers and we don't they to hide it we never have, we get plenty of won't meet smokers asking us for meet which we always blank as we find it a bit to contradictory.

Can taste/smell smoke on a person for quite some time - it's harder to get rid of than just a good teeth-brushing and mouthwash. Can smell it on someone depending on how heavily they used to smoke for 2-6 weeks after they have given up, but anything less than a week is the grim part.

Verdict still out on vaping, but it certainly doesn't bother us as much. Some flavours are reasonably pleasant, certainly in comparison!

I love considerate smokers (as opposed to those who think it's my problem) but be under no illusion smokers, all the showering, teeth brushing, mint sucking and perfuming will not disguise it.

It clings to everything, even paper.

I remember getting in a lift with someone who obviously smoked, a few months after giving up and realised that I'd wasted years and years of time showering and washing my clothes because none of it counted when I realised I smelled that bad.

We both smoke, yes it's a horrid habit. We know, but we've found that practically most of our meets have been with 'non smokers', I don't smoke on a meet, and half the time they've lit one well before I've even considered it! Honesty is the best policy, as if you can't tell....

I stopped smoking in October last year. However at New Year I had a couple of cigarettes whilst being social in the smoking area of a club. I consider myself to be a non smoker now, but still have friends who smoke and it doesn't bother me. I do have a vape, which I still use occasionally, usually when I have a drink. But. i am not ruling out pinching the occasional cigarette after a few drinks and. i still miss the cigarette after great sex so dunno, not sure I fit into either of the boxes really?

I'm no Kate Moss but I make that abundantly clear on my profile and before I meet them. There's no point being economical with the truth. I can hardly hide my size just as smokers can't hide their smell.

Proud to say I have not smoked a cigarette since starting of January. I'm vaping nicotine, just set up an appointment with my GP to find out if vaping has any negative side effects. It seems to be keeping me away from cigarettes than all the other therapies offered before. Patches and lozenges a waste ot time.

Whenever I've met a person who's profile stated they are a non-smoker but will meet smokers I've told them I would refrain from smoking several hours before the meet and my clothes would be freshly washed.

Without exception every one of them have said that I didn't have to go to all that trouble as they smoked as well.

I still wear freshly laundered clothes though

No offence but why are lie, do you think that some men are so desperate they won't care ? Maybe some are but I won't ever meet a smoker however hot I think they may be. I always prefer a social meet first and have met a woman who stank of it but claimed to be a non smoker. We had a quick drink and a chat and I left slightly annoyed I was lied to.

I would not meet a smoker.

First meet always social so I'd be able to tell then if they'd fibbed.

Once walked out on a meet as his clothes stank of cig smoke before I'd even got close enough for anything else!!!

I can't stand cigarette smoke smell. My parents both smoked when I was a child and all through my childhood until I left home.

My mum died of pneumonia as a complication of lung cancer. She quit smoking 3 weeks before she died but it took being hospitalised and on oxygen to make her stop.

My dad has really reduced the amount he smokes and won't smoke around us. He says it's not fun.

I tried smoking in my teens and it never did anything for me except make me smell more.

The residual smell on all my stuff that I got after I moved out was awful. After mum died I probably threw away a lot of family heirlooms because of the residual smell.

If you don't smoke and want to meet smokers, fine that's your prerogative, but I have definite reasons not to meet smokers and wish that my preference was respected.

Actually, if someone does not tick the smoker box on their profile it automatically comes up as non-smoker. So some people may have simply forgotten to click this, or just missed the box. That's hardly lying as they are not consciously claiming it is the case.

Weve had loads of bad experiences ...turning up to meet non smokers and when they turn up the smell is overpowering and they are hurriedly chewing "magic" gum as they think no one can tell....boils our piss dishonesty

We dont meet smokers and have walked out of a meet when someone has tried to con us.

Smokers that have contacted us generally can't seem to get their head around the fact that cleaning their teeth isnt going to make the smell/taste dissapear.

Cigarette stench we can put up with... looking twenty years older than your profile ... now that peeves me off.... or at which point is curvy a size 22... or we only play safe and within ten mins of chatting... ???? Is allergic to latex... is bareback ok?? If smoking is the worst thing people have to worry about your doing really well to be honest.... and being an ex smoker I find ex smoker the worst for moaning about smokers.

To be fair, we only smoke after a meal nowadays - and we are down to 15 meals a day

I smoke cigars, big ones, you can't nip out for one though!. Although I often try .

I don't think I'll be giving up anytime soon as I'll be honest,I love smoking cigars

Why any adult would start smoking is utterly beyond me. I have smoked for two thirds of my life and regret it constantly. I was a stupid kid when I started and it's so hard to quit.

As for the smell, yes it's horrible, but I do think it makes a difference on clothing etc if you don't habitually smoke in the house.

I only smoke in 1 room, a couple of times a day with the window open and fan on! The rest of my home is smoke free. People have said on occasion that they didn't realise I was a smoker until they saw me light up (and I do smoke too much every single day)

I'm a non smoker with a smoking fetish, I love getting blowbacks, the look and the smell but ONLY when I'm turned on, out with that I dont find anything about it appealing Atall, soon as I'm turned on.... It's the only thing I want to do or see. Strange one huh?

We are smokers and make no secret of it.

We have had meets where the non smokers did not mind.

We have had non smokers message us, to which i point out the smoking and ask if they still wish to proceed with contact.

We don't/won't meet smokers and if we meet someone who smells of it, they're part of the meet is off.

Lou has a nose like a bloodhound and we once organised a GB, all the guys had 'non smoker' on their profile. One guy had clearly made a real effort to hide it but when Lou got close she could smell a dark stale odour that only smokers have and so his evening was immediately cancelled. It put a damper on events for about as long as it took him to get dressed and leave, then the rest of the evening went with a BANG!

im a smoker and say so if your gonna lie abt that not the type of person youd want to be meetimg but some guys will do owt for a fuck! ive been a non smoker and couldnt stand the smell so started again! just as an add on once had a lass roll a cig as i was up her arse funny as fck whats craziest thing someones done while youve been havin sex?
