Finding a Soul Mate

Did anyone else watch the undateables last night and feel so happy for the two couples who just found the perfect person.

Anyway that has led me today to decide it's about time I do the same, I've met many nice girls over the years but few have shared my high sex drive and what most perceive as a bit weird (ie swinging) I love.

So a bit of advice is required, should I change my profile requirements to females only and restrict my age preference to potential gf age?

Also, can anyone recommend a good dating website?

Finding your perfect person and finding your soulmate are two different things. I did used to laugh at the term soulmate but I think I have found mine but won't know unless we are together when one of us dies as I don't believe you can have more than one. But that's just my opinion

I wish i could find someone that actually wanted me in more than just a one off sexual encounter - but it's tough for transsexual girls as even though there's so many guys online that show THAT kind of interest, there's very, very few that have the innate confidence to bee seen in public with us - even when we scrub up well!

I feel pretty 'undateable' myself

Ah well - just have to console myself with the sex then, I suppose

I think it's good to be open and honest about your intentions on your profile. I'd be disappointed if someone I met expected more than I could give, and I'd feel guilty. Having said that, it's probably going to be more difficult finding a partner on here than via traditional dating methods.

If your interests currently are to have sex with various types of people, then it strikes me as unusual to change it now, whilst you're still single. You could use fab to try and find your ideal next partner but that may be limiting things somewhat.

To find a partner who you may feel is incredibly right for you then it may involve some hard, intelligent work at it. You probably need to cast your net wider, and search wisely, narrowing down your search for the right person.

Also, reflect on what you would do if you felt that you'd met your soul mate, but they weren't interested in swinging at that point? Cast them aside, and hope that you find another one, someone perhaps not such a soul mate but kind of ok, who would swing with you?

I keep my mind open - I'm single atm. I don't know quite what the next relationship will be like, what we may agree together, or how our sex life may be - it's going to be right whatever. I also know that I'm flexible and choose wisely, and my willingness for flexibility does help me in life, having come through some very challenging situations.

I'd find the person who's right and then whilst getting to know them, discover what's right for your future lifestyles.

In the meantime, have the single sex life that you love.

We were fortunate enough to meet at Townhouse so the fact we were both kinky was kinda evident good luck in your search, but I wouldn't change who you are to get a girlfriend, ideally you'll find someone who accepts you for you and accepts your lifestyle choices

since September I've tried a few, guardian, e harmony and pof. PoF is 95% an extension of here, which I was clueless about until I came back to here. The two other I paid for, assuming the men on there would be more serious in their approach.

I came to exactly Nanna's conclusion! I BET you the statistics for people who meet each other online is one of the lowest for people meeting and coupling up! I actually read an article in the Telegraph that stated that the only people who were successful in online dating in 2014 were those seeking NSA sex!

I've always been of the opinion it's easier for the fairer sex but it appears that we all have the same insecurities
