Favourite Smells

Last night we made copious amounts of apple crumble at the group I help with. Smelt gorgeous. We also cooked apple pie and custard for everyone. I'd forgotten how good apple pie smells.

Other favourites are fresh crusty bread just out of the oven and a jar of coffee when you first take the seal off the jar.

What are yours ?

The Costa and Nero roasteries between Vauxhall an Waterloo - combining for one almighty aroma. Oddly, roasting coffee smells more like toast!

I know the rain smell you mean. I can sometimes smell when its about to rain. Especially before a thunderstorm. You get a feint whiff of ozone, that's slightly cloying. But you know its going to star thundering and lightning, and thats always exciting!
