I always think "oldest living person dies" is a bit of an oxymoron anyway

Canterbury

Ethel was the last person alive in Britain who was born while Queen Victoria was on the throne. Apparently Ethel never got to pull the chain though.... boom boom

No way!

But then I remember when I thought our teacher was ancient, and I couldn't imagine being so old and wrinkley

(She was 26! In my defence, I was 8)

yes when you think about it back in the 60,s 70,s 80,s I grew up among people (in society) from the victorian era and edwardian era, my gran and grandad along with two aunt,s Where standards had to be kept more, they were always telling me stories of Their life,s. some I can recall Still, when england still ruled the sea and had other empires across the world, nothing stays the same some things for The better and some for the worst.

I wouldn't want to live once I had no quality of life, whatever age that will be, I doubt anyone at 114 would have a good quality of life so no

leeds

I work with oldies and love every minute when they are still "with it" and share magic snippets from their lives

I hate it when they are worn out and their little old bods just wont give up so painful for them, family, friends, carers, and me

so I want to slide in the hole early shouting whoo hoo what a ride

Me and three mates had a pact in our late teens...you know the sort of thing ...if if he was stuck on life support I'll turn it off .....well my definition of quality of life was being able to drive ...well 4 years later and 3 speeding tickets,I'm a speeding offense away from a ban ....My best mate was looking forward to killing me !
