Just finished his complete works there by recommendation of a friend she is certain he is better than Oscar Wilde (my favourite) any one think anything different? I would like to settle this argument once and for all lol!

Halesowen

I doubt you'll settle it one way or the other, on here or any other platform .

I think he's dull, turgid and boring, whereas Wilde is entertaining, witty and lively - but that's just me.

My son thinks he's fabulous, not sure of his opinion on Wilde.

1-0 To me lol! I agree Wilde is witty and morbid (which in this case is a good thing strangely enough) and Fitzgerald is a bit of a ponce (though funnily enough the straight one lol!)

Two totally different styles. How could they be compared? It's like asking which is better lettuce or custard.
