Timewasters....

Having just been let down again, thought I would do a bit of quick and dirty research.

Doing a simple Browse search 'Guys to meet TVs'

The search returned 216 guys within 20 miles of my address who wanted to meet T-girls.

Then I amended with 'With one verification, this returned 61 guys.

So only 28 % have ever met!!

I ran the same check on Fabguys and that returned an improved 36%

Moral: There are more dreamers than meet'ers!

So girls, only go for those with Verif's and only give them the benefit of the doubt if they are 'newbies' Get out the barge-pole for those who have been on-site for a year and show no meets!

But there again, I guess all you girls know that...*sigh*

Check out my latest pix to see what they missed...lol...lol!

I've met those without verifications successfully, and been cancelled on last minute/stood up on by those with verifications. It's just luck of the draw.

From what I have seen in a short time on fab is that time wasters ruin it for all.

I have met two couples three times. Two of the three meets no one would have blamed me for cancelling but I am a man of my word and will go to the end of the earth before letting someone down. I just hope it never happens to me

Or being accused of being a time wasting dreamer because of the lack of a verification despite being here because of long standing, well known members......

I would put it down to the fact that this is a free to enter site and those who do enter my not be disclosing all the facts about their circumstances. I wouldn't worry too much; just let it go!

Although I can see peoples anger, I resent the statement.

We joined nearly a year ago but haven't met anyone yet so have no veris, but we've never bailed on people either!!

Sometimes life slows you down, or you haven't found the right people to feel comfortable with - it would be rather rude to assume no veris = no show without talking to someone thoroughly first.....

Not all last minute cancellations are time wasters, sometimes there is a genuine emergency, I had to cancel once biggest regret if my life but hey ho that's how it goes

Some people fill in all options in lists, for whatever teason. Ive seen meet posts even, where tgirls are sought but their profiles block all tgirls. Its some amount of thoughtlessnesx coupled with rushing tio finish a profile probably.

Its wrong to think of them as timewastes. Anyone who deceives you - wilfully - is your key timewaster.

Work out your own rules and refine them.

Biggest waste of my time is people, yes men, women and couples contacting me without reading first, or ignoring the not so subtle message fab gives when they contact me (the out of age range message). As for meets not turning up, it hasn't happened often, I only look at verifications to see how often they meet and publicise it, too many and I think no thanks. If they are new ish and /or not verified I will still meet. We all started somewhere and we don't all leave veris every time we meet someone do we x

Somewhere in North Norfolk

I used to prefer to meet people verified by meets. Then a few messed me about and I realised it was no assurance of anything.

If I felt we'd get on and there could be mutual interest, I'd meet someone unverified.

Life stuff can happen to anyone. I've had more than my fair share of cancellations over the last couple of years. It does make you wonder if anyone actually does want to meet you, but I try to remember that shit happens to everyone and sometimes people have to cancel last minute.

I've had to cancel meets for legitimate emergencies twice before, (not, thankfully, with the same person).

I felt dreadful both times.

I'll usually trust my gut feeling and give the benefit of the doubt if it seems appropriate.

I'll give second chances sometimes. I never give third chances.

I think people sometimes have a skewed idea of what a time waster is. I think if you've gone to the effort of getting ready for a meet and they don't show, that's a time waster. If youve swapped a few messages and they stop replying then that's just them (rudely) saying no thanks and is just part of the game
