Well I wish I was around in the 70's as I am what you can describe as a 'hirsute' male. I'm not a big fat hairy man, I'm athletic with a hairy chest, arms and legs just to set things straight (oh and trimmed below).

Anyway I was in a well known designer shop yesterday and noticed that the pictures of the models had hairy'ish' legs and chest (yes they were male before you start), so this has now made me think is the 'hirsute' man making a return?

So many profiles on here say 'no hairy men' so I can only assume not!

Anyway let me know your thoughts has the hairy chest died a death or is it making a comeback?

My dad was exceptionally hairy and i never liked it. Complete body hair, all over including his back. And all his hair was dark. He's always been classed as very attractive amongst women his age though so he did alright out of it.

Not too bothered if it makes a comeback, i prefer natural body hair but less than my dad. As in hairy but not too hairy.

Think also my shit ex is very hairy as well, but my nice exes aren't, funny how things like physical appearance can put you off someone when it doesn't actually matter.

Lol, only one ex is shit, after him i only ever had nice ones. I used to only say my ex, but then realised i had a few so my replies on here might look contradictory so i now say one of my exes if only talking about one.

Worst thing about having a few exes is there are a fair few guys in here that will look a bit like one of them, and i'm not sure what to do about talking to them, feels a bit weird to even chat to them. I realised i have too many exes now.

I'm much the same, I'm hairy, I know some don't like it. I trim and shave some parts as I don't like going swimming and the attendants shouting 'who let the dog in the pool?' The rest I leave.

Its a fact that a lot of men are hairy, most are, I don't want to look like I'm prepubescent. If a woman can't handle that men have hair then don't meet me!

I used to be very self-conscious and I do get the trimmer out, but I'm happy with my rug these days.

"It's me", I guess and I wouldn't change things. I know the smooth looks predominates, but it's nice that there's a section of the female Fab community that likes the hairier specimen

I shave my back hair, trim my chest, and shave and trim downstairs. The rest is au naturelle. I trim or shave the bits that are considered unsightly I'd hope that she would do the same

When in Saudi was told by a medic that chest, armpit an pubic hair just act as sweat absorption..advised to shave it all off for hygiene an never gone back..shaven raver forever now

Hairy in some parts not so much in others, just how I was built.

There's always a fad with fashion and models/current look. I don't think I'll ever be a caveman type though
