we've got an Iris that's in full bloom in our garden, been like that for two weeks now.

Bloody hell, I always demand a bunch of trumpet daffs for my birthday and its hard to get them and that's beginning of march

I have seen unlikely as it seems (once) A bed of daffodils in late january in derbyshire some 5 or more years ago as I saw it with my own eyes that was the proof still hard to believe thou weather conditions or not, even to see a Single daffodil now middle january is Going to be rare, If sunderland is the Location for the flowering Iris another Unknown as far as I know even on the south coast I,d be very surprised, I,ve got snow drops Out in the garden in flower but this is their natural time till into march.

Blimey. I'm closer to france than london and my daffs haven't even poked their noses up yet. Although a couple of tulips have just broken surface.

Wonder what its like down cornwall?
