What's the furthest you've ever gone, to get a meeting with someone off Fabs? How far have you travelled, or indeed have you had someone travel to meet you?

Our very first meet was a fantastic couple who travelled from Torquay to Gosport for am overnight stay. Round trip of something like 300 miles.

We've not travelled far yet, but for the right people........nowhere would be too far. We'd make a weekend of a distant visit, or even a long weekend.

I travelled to London from Ireland for a meet when I was previously a member and I've had a couple of guys travel from the UK to Ireland.

Sexy memories and totally worth it!

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

I made an 800 mile round trip, but it was combined with football too, so not specifically for a meet.

Had someone who regularly made a 350 mile round trip to see me too.

I can't travel very far due to time constraints....no matter how special they may be. ...hence why i have friends on here I've been chatting to for years without meeting.

In my pre-Fab days I used to travel to Norfolk for a weekend's bliss with my current OH. Absolutely worth it, even the hell of Elvedon.

First party I held here in Malvern I had a couple from Burton travelled by train and stayed over at mine. Another couple from Blackpool (so about 150 miles each way) they stayed at local hotel...eventually!

For me? I did return trip to party in Burton but stayed over at my fb place that night. Furthest for just a meet....about 70 miles to Weston super mud....but only as I hadn't realised it was so far!

About 180 miles I think was the furthest away meet I've had,

Used to go Warrington a fair bit, that's about a 110 mile round trip...that adds up after a while of going maybe a couple of times a week.

Someone came up from bristol that was pretty far!

Used to have an fb who used to do a 5hr roundtrip to see me! Once got stuck in traffic/roadworks and took him 7hrs driving roundtrip just to come cuddle me as I was upset at something that happened! He was the best just a shame he got a girlfriend as he was like my best friend!

I went all the way to Hull and back for my second meet off here back in 2011, I first saw him in the Wales chat room on cam and didn't know he was from so far away, exchanged numbers, 100's of messages, pictures, long phone calls for approximately 2 months prior to me going up there for a night in a hotel. He came down the following weekend and that continued with me having a train up there or him coming down for about 16 months. It all came to a head when he was going to move down here and I realised that I like having a packed lunch and a train journey more than actually being with him so I knocked it on the head.

Furthest I've been was Belfast, mind you I was working in Stranraer, West Scotland at the time.

Minxie has travelled up from Brighton to mine a couple of times (everything was still in working order when she left)

Hull! Bloody hell I'd blanked that relationship right out of my memory. Was driving a tiny 4 speed asthmatic Fiesta there and back every other weekend. 280 mile and 6 hours each way. She was a right mucky woman though so completely worth the journey. Happy days, I think.

Bristol

I made a 150+ miles round trip at the weekend by public transport in atrocious weather and yes, it was totally worth it. Furthest so far was about a 320 miles round trip. That was to see a regular though and I was halfway there anyway for vanilla work reasons. Plus I got a lift back with him afterwards since he normally lives less than an hour away.
