A quiet celebration and chuffed to bits!

The probation period of my new job has been cut from 6 months to 3 months, as my performance has been better than expected, and my company has decided to keep me!

It means I can join their pension scheme and am entitled to a performance-related bonus up to a maximum of 10% of my salary to be paid quarterly!

I never doubted I would not be made a permanent employee, however, it still feels great to be told I am worth it!

Off to drink my soya milk now!

Started new job in May 10, had my first appraisal yesterday, thinking it was for mid-probation period appraisal to see how I performed in the first 3 months etc...

I got a letter saying I have been made permanent today, and thought they have made a mistake.

That's when HR told me they want to keep me!

Not wanting to sound big headed, however, I was confident I would be made permanent as they gave me the job after interviewing just one person, me!

Or they took a big chance as they were desparate!
