Do you speak more than 1 ?

I really fancy going back to college to learn one.

German seems top of the bill atm as I would love to move over there at some point.

Anyone studied as an adult ?

Would you recommend college or a language course or something else ?

I can get by in French and German. My accents are bad though, apparently. My clients eventually say "shall we just speak in English?"

I can get by in French and English is my first language I've taken classes in Greek and Italian.

I would recommend going to a class and running it along side a language course on cd. There are loads of resources on the net nowadays and groups on Facebook and Twitter that will help with grammar, vocabulary and colloquialisms. College courses are ok but you do have to go at the speed of the slowest person and if that isn't you it can be really frustrating so having something you can be getting on with at home helps. Private lessons with a native speaker are great if you can afford them and they are a good teacher.

Fluent in english and spanish, passable italian and french, get by in german (just).

Spanish is fully accented as learnt it living and working there so none of the "repeat after me" bollocks.

I've been learning Italian for the past 10 years or so, ever since I went to remote part of Italy where no-one spoke English (why should they?).
