I can see the merits of all the choices you list here.

Time and occaision will dictate which one we choose.

Can't say I'm a massive fan of dressing up in costume with the exception that I like my ladies to dress sexily, ie basque, stockings, heels etc.

Blokes can't dress for sex can they?
