Arse End of the Universe, Cumbria

Had a bit of a crap start to the new year, been ill with a horrendous cough and a stomach bug, plus passed it onto my mam who's now in hospital with it and a 50 mile round trip to visit...opens the post today and an old insurance policy has matured - was expecting around £2.5k - cheque is for £3991.65!

That's my next coupla holidays sorted!

Anyone else had a nice surprise recently?

Apart from when he's wearing his Mutant Ninja Turtles T- shirt !

Finished my old job today and had some lovely comments from existing colleagues . Roll on Monday, same company but completely different team, excited about a new challenge.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I tried on a frock today and didn't look horrendous. I'm eating chocolate marzipans so I might look horrendous by the time I have to wear the frock I have just bought.

I'm a happy bunny.

Good surprise Caz, come and rub your lucky self against me.

That's awesome!!

I had a surprise package from my brother in Australia yesterday. A late Christmas and birthday gift. In the box there was the most beautiful black Michael Kors bag... In the bag there was a Michael Kors watch. Thrilled to bits, and what a brilliant brother!
