Sheffield

I've just been reading the news, trains services cancelled till the tracks can be inspected, schools closed, vehicles overturned and even a someone's window blown in!

Stay safe all you fabbers north of the border. If you don't have an urgent need to go anywhere I think today should be a sofa day!

Lest we forget the tragic cases of all the trampolines and paddling pools that have now been 'relocated'.

Passed one of each this morning on the school run.

Angus & Findhorn

It's been a wild night, winds have dropped but I believe it's back later.

I once had to deal with an insurance claim caused by a trampoline apparently having been blown into a fence, causing the fence to come down.

Edinburgh

Still a bit scary out there this morning, a couple of Christmas trees flew in front of my car and I had to change my route because of fallen trees!

Be safe everyone

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Its pretty horrific round here. My wee fella (well not so wee, 4ft5, 4 and a half stone 6 year old) got blown over on the way to school today.

Supposed to die off at lunchtime, and then more again tonight.

Livingston

Died down a bit for now (calm before another storm). I've lost my shed roof and parasol. On the upside, I have a mini outdoor swimming pool
