Was watching one woman on there the other night who bobbed her tongue out every time she threw a dart.

It's sad to see that the play in the bdo has been so poor this year. Unfortunately, all the best players in the world are all playing in the pdc, the money on offer is too great a temptation for them to stay with the bdo.

I sincerely hope that the poor play in this year's competition doesn't signal the start of the demise of the bdo. The bdo are the heart and soul of grass roots darts, even supporting people like me playing in the local pub team.

The pdc has done great things for the professionals. But, we need the bdo to support the little guys and girls and develop them to become the future professional

It is easy to see the BDO being phased out. The standard is so much lower than the PDC. It is basically an apprenticeship nowadays, with players like Bunting moving on once they have done a couple of years.

It is a big shame someone can't merge the two divisions so there is only one true champion.

Don't think the BBC coverage helps. Saw it yesterday afternoon: too much coverage of the women's and juniors' tournaments

Cardiff

I watched Wolfie win in the very first game and that was that.

His opponent seemed to stop mid throw and turn to the crown, annoyed with some noise, much like a golfer.

Ive been to Premier league Darts twice and the atmosphere is electric, you can hardly hear what your mate is saying.

BDO is as dry as a nuns nasties and I recently saw someone trying and failing to finish on a double 2.

As above, combine the two and have x2 league tables for eg with promotion and relegation.

I'd look out for you in the Pro finals then if I actually watched Darts.

Post some pics of when you do beat most of the Pro players and we'll give you "congrats"

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

I disagree. Like all pursuits, we need the younger people coming through and to give the youngsters air time can show others that perhaps that could be them! Same for the ladies. Admittedly the ladies final wasn`t quite so good as last years but tonights semi-final between Adams and Durrant was a belter! Worthy of a final in either persuasion and I`m talking BDO or PDC now!

Don't know if you saw the Junior final: one of the two finalists missed something 24 doubles. Didn't hit one

That was a bit painful the watch!

Yes, the Adams v Durrant was certainly the highlight of the week so far. A great game, worth watching

I didn`t see the junior matches and yes I agree that is not what you want to see but no doubt stage fright had an impact here. I went to the Lakeside a couple of years ago and the battery of media vehicles outside really surprised me. As for when you get inside and see the intensity of the lights on the stage is something else. I know that Scott Mitchell used to get stage fright (local insider information) but has somehow got over it!
