hypocrisy i see

hi guys, hope everyone's had a lovely morning

something i find comical and eye catching is the way that "fat" people often state "no fat people". Obviously everyone is entitled to their own preferences but i find it hypocritical and spurious that people can demand from others what they cannot provide. Often it is stated as though they have some moral high ground

Obviously I'm not affected by these demands but its whats grinding my gears this morning lol

Our lower age limit is much younger than I am, I clearly can't provide youth yet I request it...does that make me a hypocrite?

So.......? People must stick to their own shapes and sizes? No....

I know what you mean when it comes to being said as if they have some moral high ground on the issue but I tend to avoid profiles with those type of undertones about anything, not just size...

What if someone who is fat isn't attracted to other fat people! Should they just know their place and meet only fat people? I'm overweight but I'm not attracted to overweight men. The slim/average/normal/whatever men don't seem to have a problem with this.

Are thin people limited to meeting thin people? Short people not allowed to want to meet tall people?

If they're writing it in a way that offends you then pass them by, but I hope you realise your own opening post makes it sounds like you yourself think you're a cut above the fatties you're deriding for doing the same thing.

I can see your point of view, im fat my hubbys thin and I prefer slim to average sized men, my best meets have been with slim men and for some reason fat blokes don't want to see me again and don't leave me verifications so whats the point of me meeting fat blokes just because im fat.

If I cant find someone I like then I would rather go without.

Personality is most aspect I look for regardless of looks and attributes.

If your not into something eg short or fat, you shouldn't be limited if you happen to be short, fat ect

And to answer previous comments, the difference between weight and colour and size is that weight is the only category of the 3 that people have control over - and i clearly stated in my opening remarks - people are entitled to their own preferences.. doesn't make the demands any less hollow in my opinion

Hi op!

Welcome to the forums!!

I can see where you are coming from to a small extent, ie - If I take care of my physique then I am entitled to demand that my sexual partners do the same - but if I don't take care of my physique, do I still have that right?

Ask yourself this - if due to illness, accident or change of lifestyle you gained four stone in weight, would you then automatically find overweight men attractive? - I wouldn't!

I've also had my horizons massively broadened as to what is desirable to many since joining fab. My original preconception that you have to be size 12 or less to be beautiful/attractive to the opposite sex has been blasted out of the water - quite rightly!!

I have some gorgeous bbw friends who are at least as much in demand at clubs and parties as I am! And hell - why shouldn't they be?? They're amazing ladies! xx

Oh blah blah blah.

Are tall people only allowed to want tall people now?

Are we only allowed to seek people with a similar IQ? Same colour hair? Same colour eyes?

It's only ever body size people are expected to restrict themselves on, and it's only ever fat people who are not allowed preferences and don't "deserve" anyone not fat.

I'm fat.I don't fancy fat men. Some slim/athletic men are only too happy to meet me.

Some people look for more than body size.

Go shove your prejudice up your arse.

(Yes I'm in a say exactly what I mean mood and have lost patience with this bullshit).

Yup.

As for people thinking they are better than others...

No slim person is better than me simply because they are slim.

I'm going to start expecting all meets have the same level of intelligence and education that I have. There will be a fuck of a lot of slim people that can't "provide" that.

BOLDON COLLIERY

having read a lot of people going on about preferences, and how fat people should meet,

Has anyone considered the elf n safety aspect to it.

what if they know their bed/sofa could not take the strain of two larger people on it or even four if it's a couple meeting, the accident lawyers would have a field day if it collapsed

something i find comical and eye catching is the way that "fat" people often state "no fat people". Obviously everyone is entitled to their own preferences but i find it hypocritical and spurious that people can demand from others what they cannot provide. Often it is stated as though they have some moral high ground

Obviously I'm not affected by these demands but its whats grinding my gears this morning lol

Our lower age limit is much younger than I am, I clearly can't provide youth yet I request it...does that make me a hypocrite?"

Yep.

But then I demand people who are gorgeous. Guess that makes me a hypocrite to. LOL

Why is it grinding your gears?

Can't you concern yourself with more important stuff, like changing the way you think?

I'm a size 16.

Oh do put a sock in it.

No chip on my shoulder, just fucking fed up with arrogant slim people who think they are better than others just for being slim having a fucking go.

We're attracted to what we're attracted to. Nobody has a right to meets and EVERYONE has a right to decline to meet anyone for any reason.

Declining someone based on size is no more prejudiced than declining them for any other reason.

You think fat people are second class citizens without the same rights as everyone else. If you believe that isn't prejudice, you are deluded.

I don't fancy fat men and that is how it is. Nobody has a duty to restrict themselves to, or meet people the same size as them just because you think that's all they are worth.

People are more than their size.

An independent panel of fab members should give as all an attractiveness rating and a size rating and we should only be allowed to meet people with the same rating as us.

That'd sort the problem.

Damn these jumped up fat people who think they are good enough to meet the slim (and therefore beautiful, better) people.

The very cheek.

At least I'm not fat and deluded.

I describe myself accurately and have clear pics so people can decide if they want to meet me.

I've seen plenty of large men describing themselves as average, or even athletic (on the basis of having "a rugby player's build) and saying they prefer young, slim women.

It's their choice. I'm not looking for them and they aren't looking for me so I move on without needing to have a public superiority trip over it.

If you had a life yourself you might not bother so much about other people, their preferences and their meets. Maybe you wouldn't need to be self-appointed police of what other people deserve, (based on a single aspect).

You pissed me off with your hating, so you're getting pissed off responses. Big shock.

When has "Fatties" become an acceptable term to refer to another person??

I was under the impression that this was a site for people to meet others to fulfil sexual fantasies or needs, to do that people have to meet a certain criteria to fulfil that? So requesting a certain type of person is not wrong as long as it is respectful in the way it is done.

As fairly new members we have discovered that there are quite a few peeps here who think their sh*t doesn't stink...

Why are so many women on here calling themselves 'fatties' when they quite clearly are not.

If this carries on I'll have to start calling myself 'fattie' just to compete. LOL

Yes. I'd hate to become an arrogant "slim" (and having seen the OP's photos now, I've added the quotes) person who believes they can dictate the behaviour of others based on their own standards.

People like this actually put me off losing weight because I dig my heels in about conforming to anyone else's expectations, (yes, I know it's cutting off my nose to spite my face). I also don't want this type of person believing their hating had an effect and encouraged me to change.

some people actually like fat and slim people. Greedy fuckers (me)

I can recall a very handsome, athletic built man with a nice bit of muscle going on-not too much- seducing me in his bedroom. He pushed me back on his bed and as he gorged on my pussy his hands were caressing my thighs and stomach. He was making the most delicious noises. As he moved up to kiss me he kissed and gently bit my stomach while his hands squeezed by bum cheeks. Now there is a man who likes a bit of flesh I thought

Usually my 1st line of a message is Hi "blah blah blah"...then 2nd line is " I'm a size 18 with a lot of stretch marks after having a child" as I would not like to waste anyone's time either! So

Glad I'm not the only one who does this. I have a picture but do not how my skin so find its best that way x

Personally I think some of the comments against the OP have gone a little over the top. She's young and new and would probably have been better of not using the word "hypocritical".

And it is a question I have often wondered myself but, as has rightly been pointed out, no one thinks it's wrong for skinnies to ask for larger so why the other way round.

And I ask for gorgeous but I'm far from gorgeous myself.

We all learn from our mistakes but not if we are also beaten to the ground in a fit of rage by someone who feels differently.

I say cut her/them a little slack and lets move on.

(or am I getting back into the arse licking and brown nosing thing again. he he)

"hi guys, hope everyone's had a lovely morning

something i find comical and eye catching is the way that "fat" people often state "no fat people". Obviously everyone is entitled to their own preferences but i find it hypocritical and spurious that people can demand from others what they cannot provide. Often it is stated as though they have some moral high ground

Obviously I'm not affected by these demands but its whats grinding my gears this morning lol

All my preferences are flexible for the right people. There's something about some people that changes things.

I need some criteria on here though because I can't meet everyone in case there's chemistry. Social gatherings are useful for meeting people I wouldn't normally meet just from their profiles here. A lot of guys don't present themselves well on here.

I've had about 30 people message me to tell me about the little clique you guys have going on here and it's strong.. First time poster and certainly my last

its like a hungry Wolfpack surrounding a carcass looking for the next meal - very apt metaphor considering my original post and the pics of all my critics hahaha

Anyway I'm going gym, a place alien to some many of you but really is a great place

I wouldn't pay too much attention to those who go on about a clique on here. It's got more to do with their own paranoia and failure to make headway on this site.

However it is true that there does tend to be a rather over politically correct contingent on here and people do tend to take far to much offence far too quickly on some comments made.

But if you want to get the best out of this site I would stick with the Forums. It's a good way of finding out about people without having to get too involved in messages or meets first.

My preference is for fit gym bunnies despite the fact that I'm clearly curvy and not so fit.

But I only want to meet people who find me as attractive as I do them and it has been my pleasure to meet some men with fantastic bodies who regard my body as being their ideal too. In fact one of my meets who has phenomenal definition and abs that some forumites aspire to (yes shag, I mean you) considers me to be a bit scrawny according to what he finds attractive!
