I feel for you. Caught flu 15th dec. Turned into a chest infection which turned into pleurisy. Still off work now. Been docs 7 times. Nurse twice. Hospital once for my xrays.

I had 2 hours last night but had another 2 hours at 4 today. My ribs are so painful even to the touch. We all need to have our own swingers hospital i think. We need looking after.

Not flu here, but a cold which has turned into tonsillitis/laryngitis and resulted in me losing my voice and part of my hearing!

Not been hit this hard by illness in years!

Had so many plans for January hope I don't have to cancel any more

good job i did all my christmas shop month before or my son would have had nothing. Been a month now, bed or couch or docs thats it for now can only walk for 2/5 mins a time. Pleurisy sucks!!

Vimto is just like any other sugary, flavoured squash and be careful when taking medicines that all contain paracetamol, it's very easy to overdose.

As for Lemsip, it's just a very expensive way of taking paracetamol and vitamin c.

Ive had pleurisy. Absolutely awful! Nothing you can really do but keep comfortable and let your body heal itself. Take care hun x

Thanks hunny, hate been in bed and not mobile im always on the go. And yes im been a good girl for once taking orders and for a Mistress that for me is very, very hard lol
