Didn't bother watching it.

It was never going to be quality, impartial journalism.

So I have no opinion on it.

The truth will be vastly different from what you saw.

Responses limited only to tax payers?

I guess if you include those who pay VAT, that makes it everyone.

I don't see why my taxes should pay for lazy fat people to sit on their fat arses all day and eat.

"I don't see why my taxes should pay for lazy fat people to sit on their fat arses all day and eat. "

Would it make a difference to you if they were skinny?

Is it the fact they're 'fat' that pisses you off or that they sit on their arses all day?

Not that many people are that fat though I don't think, so how about single parents, or married ones who get child benefit, tax credits, free breakfasts for their kids, free school meals, etc etc, not forgetting illegal immigrants if I am allowed to mention them that is.

Everyone with a child gets child benefit,

Not all single parents dont work,

To claim tax credits you have to work,

Many many immigrants come to this country to work and do.... Think the OP is talking about lazy arsed people who can be bothered working or sit on their arses eating so much that they physically cant work or people who pretend to be too ill to work. My taxes go towards paying for smackheads to not work, chelsea round the corner who says her kid has ADHD to claim extra, child killers to get a whole new life, feed rapists in prison, alkies to have a drink each night and MP's to live in lavish houses with a huge wage each month. Being fat is neither here or there when you look at the bigger picture of how screwed up this country is. Many people are scared of a hard days work and want everything for nothing

So why does it make them worst than you if you are also getting benefits even though you work, sorry but I don't see that it does.

Who says i claim benifits?

But i would rather my taxes go towards a person who gets up each day, goes to work but needs their wages helped out by tax credits because wages for working class people just arnt enough than lazy arsed scroungers who have no pride or morals and cant be bothered working. I get that some people are out of work through no fault of their own or who are genuinely too sick to work and they should get help but all the rest are just bleeding the system and putting a strain on the country.

I am a single mum of 2 and work my ass off to support my family and pay my mortgage. If i never had my house i would be financially better off to not work and get my rent paid and live on benifits but what am i teaching my children by doing that? I live my example and have self reapect,

Only you are getting different benefits, but benefits all the same, for your kids, like I have already mentioned, free school meals, breakfasts, child benefit, etc etc.

Doesn't bother me, wether people are fat or not I will pay taxes and it may as well go on them than anything else, if there were no fat people on benifits would I pay less tax? Though not so who cares

My kids dont get free school meals because i work full time and work 2 jobs.. EVERYONE with a child get child benifit ( even the priminister) and i claim no other money... Think you need to educate yourself on the matter before you assume the whole country are scroungers.

Where are these free school meals and breakfasts coming from? My kids never got any of these, and nor does anyone else's kids who's parents work

I heard on the news a while ago that all kids are to be given free school meals and breakfasts, etc etc, and child benefit is a benefit even if the prime minister gets it.

Costs me £2.50 a day for each childs lunch and £1.50 each time my son attends breakfast club when im on an early. When child benifit was called family allowance it wasnt classed as benifit and also isnt classed as a benifit with the Csa or inland revenue now.

So no, i dont put myself in the same class as the people the op first started talking about.

Well glad to hear you pay for your kids meals, I don't care what the csa or inland revenue call it but I call it what it is, a benefit.

Family tax credits and working tax credits are benefits too but are benefits for people who are helping themselves, I do not see a single mum working 20 hours a week and getting her money topped up my tax credits the same as people who are happy to just sit on job seekers, not all benifits are the same in my humble opinion

"Everyone with a child gets child benefit

"

Like fuck they do.

There are hundreds of thousands of fathers who don;t get a single penny of that BENEFIT.

Yet they also get soaked for further costs AND provide time, care and provision of entertainment out of their remaining pocket.

The day when the Govt split Child Benefit equally between parents will be the day the children get a much better deal from it all.

Isn't it spelt benefit ?

Never claimed a penny in my life

No kids

Always worked full time

Yes it pisses me off when my tax goes to those that don't deserve it. The benefits are for a reason

Ohhh forgive me for spelling a word wrong but i think the spelling and grammar post is on another thread.. And the day my childs father splits raising our children equally instead of one night a week is the day he can comment on my finances. What the government makes him pay each month doesnt come close to half of what it costs to raise them so no, he deserves nothing in the way of financial help when it comes to our children.

They didn't mention anything of helping them on the program, maibe a free pass to weight watchers would be a good step in the right direction.

Do benefit scrounger posts not get a trifle tiresome? It is estimated to be a tiny percentage of the overall spend. I think there are more important issues to address.

You can get them and sliming world vouchers from your GP, thing is weight watchers and slimming world is not a cure, people will not loose weight simply becaue you send them to a slimming class

And a taxi there? Or a route map and directios as to how to walk there and back.

I think the latter would be more beneficial.

single dad three kids pays everything equally has 2 jobs to ensure my little ones school fees are paid too

wouldn't dream of getting hand outs and will use the child benefits to help her go through uni or buy a car - there i know we are more fortunate than some others who do rely on it.

and it even leaves me enough money for the occasional KFC!!

I have no objection to anyone's build, some folk Are fat and trying to alter their build, some are fat and happy with their build and choose to be that way.

Likewise some folk Are slim and happy with it, some are slender and want to change. I fit the last category myself till nearly thirty due to not being able to physically cram enough food into myself to sate my rocketting metabolism.

So I don't judge anyone or find them unnattractive on build alone. Every person I've been lucky enough to call my friend, whatever their BMI has possessed a work ethic that means they refuse to live a parasitic existence.

But one thing I do hold truck with is people choosing to be a burden on others when it is within their powers to improve matters, which in particular the couple who got married were doing.

A fair point about the coverage being biased and it no doubt Not telling the real story to some extent, at least as far as psychological issues go. But I'll be damned if anyone can explain as camera trickery the obese pair lying upon their couches shovelling huge greasy kebabs into their faces.

If their situation merely affected them Then live and let live. But when they Are totally incapable of earning their own keep and choose to exacerbate the problem by slurring "Mmmmmm...nice kebab..." whilst stuffing the lot down?

Umbridgr is most definitely taken!
