I have become less stubborn and if i'm wrong will appologise..

even if i believe i am right about things, i will still try to compromise on opinions and not be so defensive about stuff,, i'll back down and just bite my lip.

I dislike conflict... does this make me a pushover?

No - it makes you sensible, easier to get along with and probably more popular. I know a few stubborn people and frankly, they can be hard work. Especially the ones who can't agree to disagree about Penfold being a genius.

Not at all. I will always try to find middle ground. But on occasion I will go with my instincts and judgment and really fight my corner.

Generally though, not many things are that important that a compromise can't be found.

I'm only stubborn when it comes to questionable beliefs.

For example, if I fancy Mexican but everyone wants to try that new burger place, I'm fine with it. However, if someone tries to say all crime is committed by immigrants, I'll not let it go.

Unless it's dancing in a club. I'm stubborn about not dancing.

here and there, thereabouts

Too stubborn for my own good at times am sure.

i will however usually try to find a middle ground.

if I have the courage of my convictions I will stick by them and Agee to disagree.

What if I say all crime is committed by those Mexicans you fancy?

I'm not stubborn in the moment, I'm completely in the right. It's only later that I realise 'Damn, why couldn't I just let it go?!'

If I am right or "it's the principle of the matter", I will not back down.

On some things I can be a stubborn mare and will not back down, especially if I know for a fact I'm right. I admit when I'm wrong and apologise for it though.

Other things, I just let them go. Not big on conflict either but as I get older (and wiser? ) I find I am less willing to sit back and take crap from people.

Hids
