Iconic Voices

There are some voices that send shivers down your spine or can simply hold you enthralled.

Just listening to Liam Neeson, his voice does it for me. I also loved the late Richard Burton, especially his narration of War of the Worlds.

Which voices do you love ?

My friend and I were walking in front of two Scottish guys on NYE. We both said afterwards how sexy their accents sounded to us !

There is an outtake of him doing Vader in a Zummmerzet accent, but I'm sure it's fake

This is from memory so some may be wrong lol. David prowse actually recorded all of darth vaders lines but wasn't told of the switch to using James Earl Jones ' s voice. In empire it was rumoured that in revenge prowse leaked some of the plot which is why he wasn't vader in jedi.

The Irish chap who used to be The BBC's political reporter.

I think he suprisingly passed away a few years ago well before his time but I can still hear him:

In the commons today, there was a big debate.

.

Never before in the history of the world had such a mass of human beings moved and suffered together. This was no disciplined march it was a stampede without order and without a goal, six million people unarmed and unprovisioned, driving headlong. It was the beginning of the rout of civilisation, of the massacre of mankind.

he didn't know his voice was being cut but it wasn't the reason for him not playing the unmasked valerian - that was simply about his voice again as they would have had to dub over his thick accent. After years of being a fan I got to meet him last year and sadly he was an absolute arsehole

Look on you tube for the magic roundabout - dougal and the blue cat. She does the voice of madam blue. She wasn't listed in the credits, but its the best part she ever did. Sounds very saucy for a kids film.
