Strange question...

Has anyone any ideas on how to get rid of a mouse without killing it?

There's a mouse in my house!!

Don't use cheese...put chocolate in it.

Erm...what you going to do with him when you've caught him?

Hereabouts

If you catch it, make sure you take it somewhere far away or it will just come back.

I used to live in a row of 4 houses. Our attics were connected with small gaps in the walls. The couple at number 4 redid their garden, so the mice that were living in the garden moved into the houses. The lady at number 1 caught them and put them in the garden but they just kept coming back. Number 2 were useless and just left them to run around the attic and through the walls. So my dad ended up killing all of them. Although one night I heard scraping and banging in the attic, one of the mice got its leg caught in the trap and was dragging it around the attic. We ended up buying rat traps instead.

They like peanut butter

Have you tried just sitting down and talking things over?

Get a cat. The mice will stop coming in after a while.

Leave a bucket of water out. We got up one day at my daughter's house and a bucket of water had 2 dead adult mice in and lots of dead babies. Sad way to go really
