If you are unsure in anyway you should voice your concerns to your sons doctor.

As parents we have enough guilt to deal with...are we bringing them up right...if i do this how will it affect my child...

So just seek more advice. Speak to other parents in the same situation. I am sure there are online forums on a more relevant site to ask for advice than here (not that i am knocking the worldly wise people of fab)

Good luck to you and your family

As parents with a Daughter that has to take a fair amount of drugs each days to to help her lead a normal life as possible we often debate if we are doing the right thing by giving her some of the drugs (or not giving her them) and you have to weigh up all the pros and cons if it.

Can be hard and stressful second guessing yourself, to us we often ask other parents in the same situation that have been there before but as in all trials all drugs have to go under rigorous testing before being trialled on humans and all have their side effects but the doctors controlling the trial will always closely observe the patient.

Best thing to do is try not to worry (easier said than done I know!) but you're doing it in your Sons best interest and keep in touch with your doctor dealing with it.
