Has anyone noticed a considerable difference in the success rate they have on this site between having face pics/not having face pics? Have you had more success showing off your face or when hiding it?

Mixed bag really but I do find the more effort you put into your first message then the more chance you have of getting someone's attention.

Most people will see past the pics after a while and prefer to be entertained by wit and intelligence.

Not sure as I've almost always had public face pics appart from my first few weeks on here, and its common not to have much sucsess as a brand newbie......I've changed my profile pic a few times though and found that having a face pic as profile certainly doesen't harm anything....

The biggest draw for new messages funnily was having my peppa pig tatttoo up as my profile pic.....go figure, a cartoon pig gets more attention than my face...speaks volumes
