How soon in to chatting with someone would you ask for face pic's? We'd rather see them early on..

If we initiate contact then we send one with the first message. We'd hope to receive one with a message from someone we'd not spoke to before. It doesn't always happen though, within the first few messages is preferable.

I usually send one with the first message too, usually helps to get a response - depending on the eyesight of the person who sees it!

If it's just chat/banter/forum related? I don't give a monkeys about swapping pics.

If it's related to a forthcoming event/club trip? There's no immediate rush.

If it's related to a potential meet? Relatively soon.

So depends entirely in the circumstances. There are people I've been chatting to for years I could be stood next to in a lift and wouldn't have a clue!

Certainly within first few posts. I find it suspicious if they don't have any or make up excuses like the classic "I cant because of my job"

OP, fairly soon as I like to know what people look like, especially as I have a social first - I prefer to know what their face looks like as thats what I'll see having coffee - not their knob!

I actually don't show facepics.

So far, we have not encountered any issues from it.

My logic being; if I like them enough to be chatting about meeting them, i am likely to meet them for a social at which point they could of course run screaming if iam not their type... But hopefully it'd be a good chat even if nothing more came of it and we weren't attracted.

People I chat in general to don't need a pic necessarily.

I would consider giving it out for example if there was large distance to travel on either side between meets.

I think for me it really depends on the person asking, too.

Bugs is more relaxed about showing his, but hasn't yet.

I asked one "lady" after about 10 messages and got blocked!!

Now that either tells me I'm being unreasonable forward, she's married and doesn't send face pics, not interested in me or its a 30 stone hairy lorry driving bloke passing himself off as a woman and gets off on messaging blokes!!!

To be honest if you can't exchange a face pic after half a dozen messages then 9/10 they are wasting your time.

When I was looking, I wouldn't reply to anybody if they didn't have a public face pic or attach one. It was a good way to filter the messages worth responding to as it was impossible to answer them all.
