Thank god normality has resumed, so can't wait to get back to it.

Scunthorpe

After doing 12 hour shifts for most of the last three months, I'm hoping that the guy I've been covering for is getting back to normal soon.

It would be nice to leave work early enough to get to the gym.

I'm lucky to have one more day off, back to routine tomorrow. It's been a lovely break , but I like getting back to normality too.

I really don't want to go! Was supposed to actually have a rest and recharge my batteries over Christmas after not having a break/holiday for 2 years (apart from the Christmas before), instead I spent it running around after everyone else I don't want to be around people, not for work anyway!

"250 emails "
that is the obly thing I dont need to worry about. I work within the construction industry so none of my customers have been at work either, so only a handfull of emails. However when I had 2 weeks off last year I came back to over 800

Just around the corner

I can feel my stockpile of new year cheerfulness being eroded already.

"250 emails "

I'll see your 250 and raise you an extra 124!

First day back properly - although worked last Mon/Tues. Downside is I'm working from home and the schools aren't back til tomorrow - so I'm struggling to get much done with a house full.

Meh!!
