Over the rainbow, under the bridge

It seems that live Christmas trees are being recycled in Cambridgeshire as toys for lions at Linton Zoo. Apparently they're like catnip.

What else christmassy could be recycled? Other than the turkey.

There was an earlier story, a few days ago, somwhere in Devon (i think)were asking for them to feed to the large collection of goats.

Sure there must be sprouts lurking at the back of fridges around the country could be put to good use.

I saw the video on this on BBC news, also works as flood defences as the branches stop the build up on the banks that can cause flooding.

Zoos love them for different animals. I know a lot of stores collect Christmas cards but I turn mine into gift tags for next year x
