If you like them fluffy add a half teaspoon of baking powder | |||

Whisk til it's all mixed properly Pour into greased tin or cake cases bake at 180 til it springs back when you prod it and a knife comes out clean | |||

I've also cooked a brisket joint, pork shoulder and gammon joint in there. ...i love my slow cooker. The meat comes out so tender and juicy. | |||

This Christmas I have perfected curries, they look and taste just like the local curry house, I can even control the heat - next step is making my own Naan type breads." I really need a clay oven built in the garden. ..would be perfect for cooking naan bread in! Whenever I've made them they have been Ok but probably miss out on being excellent because they aren't cooked in a tandoor...That's my excuse | |||

Mainly because the other half adores the crispy skin on a proper roast chicken | |||
