I can cook that...joys of being married to a yank...I've tried quite a few things state side and I've had my fill...in four years of marriage I put on three stone...thanks to all the stuff that I could buy, cook and eat

I'd always heard of taco bell, but could never find a 'restaurant'. When I stumbled upon one in Manchester, I bought a box meal with a bit of everything in it. ...possibly the worsed Mexican food I've ever tasted.

There's a diner in Philadelphia that does a veal parmigiana and it is better than any fast food I have ever tasted. So much junk and calories in it. Perfect after an all dayer.

I had one when visiting a friend in Philadelphia 15 years ago. They are amazing but very much heart attack on a plate food.

I don't think there's anything I want to try that I've not tried, that I know of but I do wish Taco Bell food could be easily obtained in the UK.

I tend to find that even when I crave it, junk food is never really that great.

Ta. Have never noticed it but then wasn't particularly looking. One of my friends who lives in America raves about them. May take a wander next time we visit and see what all the fuss is about, to make my own mind up (stubborn that way

) but if it's as bad as you say it'd def be with reservations!!

So out of interest what's good ' eat out' food to you then?

Favourite delicacy in Georgia when I lived/worked there was a deep fried turkey or a low country boil. I miss the all bay spice mix but can get it in Amazon

It's not junk food but durian fruit just to say I've tried it

When I lived on base in Germany they had Popeyes and taco bells and Popeyes and subway and cinnamon whatever it's called and thry wondered why there was a huge influx of overweight US soldiers

I'm not sure. We don't have one locally but I think there's one in Milton Keynes.

Tried it once as well wasn't pleased but if you go to the food market in the arndale there's pancho's and you can even get habanero sauce if you dare
