I was planning on going out, but now staying in!!

So just about to open up some Whisky I got for Christmas and watch the The Babadook (Australian Horror Film)

Enjoy your wine and Captain America.

BTW....It is a very good film, I enjoyed it a lot.

The first was good but I preferred this one.

So have fun.

That is also a good film.

Slightly different than Captain America.

But really enjoyable.

Especially if you know or like Mary Poppins.

There are quite a few more I still want to watch.

I'm on nights tonight, starting at 11.30, so I have a couple of horror films to watch and a violent gang based film.

Night shifts are boring, and movies are an acceptable way of passing the time. Well some movies are!

So...

Just finished watching The Babadook.

Good horror film.

A little 'fucked up' at the end but some very good genuine scares early and throughout the film.

I do enjoy a good horror film and you mainly find that one's made outside of the US are good. (before Hollywood gets its hands on the remake!!)

Hope everyone else's film night was good fun.

Time for something a little bit more light-hearted before bed.

Night, night all.

I'm still trying to watch Captain America.

I can't concentrate or sit still. I have to keep winding it back or stopping it to do things.

I have it paused at the moment because I was taking new pics for here.

I think I might have to give up with the film.

It was good, yes, thanks.

I've also got X-men DOFP to watch, and Thor: The Dark World. There are several things on Sky Movies (via my Now TV box) which I'd like to watch too. If I can sit still and concentrate for long enough!

You're in for a treat, it's a really well done horror film, doesn't rely on jumpscares and understands that the best way to scare the audience is by quietly disturbing them

Have you watched either Pan's labyrinth or 'the orphanage' (it needs the, the)

Both Spanish horror films with subtitles (don't let that put you off)

Horror films with that personal element involving feelings and psychological scares rather that shock horror weird.

The orphanage is slightly more horror but both are (in my opinion) really good films.

But it is sometimes hard to find a good old fashioned scary horror film.

;-)

Last night I watched Movie 43.

It's a bizarre movie made up of short sketches and a heavyweight A-list cast in roles you really wouldn't expect.

Hugh Jackman with testicles on his chin and Halle Berry mixing guacamole with her boobs are amongst the temerity moments!
